Homecoming was getting closer. Grayson and I had been closer than ever. He had kept the looks and everything, but it was still him. Ethan and I had had more sex over the past few days, as I earned more cash.

There was only one more month, before I would get my sister back. Everything was going as planned.

I noticed Grayson trying very simple moves on me, such as taking my hand whenever he had the chance, surprising me with food and make conversation with me in the middle of the night through facetime.

He was acting weird, but I simply ignored it.

Then one day, everything changed.

I was walking down the hallway, with my skateboard right under my arm. I stopped where my locker was and opened it after unlocking it.

I grabbed a few books, and noticed a small paper fell down to the floor. My eyebrows frowned, as I crouched down and took the little piece of paper.

"Meet me in the parking lot in 10" It said. I could not decode whose handwriting that was, since it was printed out.

I shrugged and followed the instructions, thinking it was just Grayson wanting to ditch school again.

Although, when I got to the parking lot, it was nothing like I ever imagined.

There was a huge crowd behind him, holding signs and he was there, standing there in the middle of it all, with a huge grin on his face.

He was holding a bouquet of flowers in his hands and was kneeling on the ground.

Date? The sign said.

I covered my mouth in surprise, shaking my head. "Shut up." I mumbled, running to Grayson. I jumped and he caught me.

He spun as around, chuckling, as I hugged him tightly. "Raine, will you go to homecoming with me?" He asked, smiling from ear to ear once he put me down.

I nodded. "Yes" I gave him another hug.

"That's not all." He said.

"What do you mean that's not all" I arched both eyebrows, giggling.

He kneeled again, pulling out a little box. It had a gorgeous, sparkling necklace in it.

"Raine Hernandez, I may not be as cool, as badass, and as perfect as you are, but I'm still willing to give you all my love.  I fell in love with you the second I saw you, and right now, I can't wait any much longer. Will you be my girlfriend?" He said.

His voice was slightly shaking as he saif so. My eyes filled with tears.

I nodded, and pulled him into a sweet kiss. I felt him smiling through the kiss and wrap his arms around my waist.

Tears were streaming down my face as I hugged him.

I cried, not just because of happiness, but of guilt and fear too.
