The item stolen was his wallet. His fat, black wallet.

Tsk. Rich kids.

Back in hell, I observed it carefully. It was full of credit cards and cash.

A lot of cash.

He even had his driver's license in there, which I amusingly examined.

His eyes is what caught my attention the most. They looked so dark, so full of mystery. It made me wonder how his life really was, behind that smile that everyone got to see everyday.

It's not just us average people who go through pressure.

I slept through most of the two remaining classes I had before I decided to keep the cash and the wallet, only willing to return his other belongings.

I remember having written the following:

Dear Mr. Ethan

I found your wallet and your driver's license had your adress so here's your credit cards and other important stuff. I kept the cash because I needed the weed, the metro card because, well, the fare's 2,75 and the wallet, because its kinda cool.

Enjoy the rest of your day

Jannie bursted out laughing at the message and nodded her head quickly, agreeing to the max.

I laughed along with her and slid the wallet into my front pocket.

Originally I was planning on going to his house and just leave his stuff at his front door.

But just when I thought I would be receiving 50 bucks that day, I bumped into another someone again.

And this time, it was definitely not on purpose.

You could've guessed it. It was no other than the most popular guy in school, Mr Dolan.

"We meet again, beautiful"

I couldn't help but smirk back. I loved playing these little games with him.

"Mind returning my wallet now?" His eyebrow arched as his smirk widened on his face, making my cheeks go red and my lips to part.

I was surprised he noticed it was me who took his belonging and not some other kid.

To this day, I still wonder how he found out.

"I-I don't know what you're talking about" I stuttered, as if I was under some kind of spell, mesmerized by the beauty before me.

I forgot to mention, the kid did smell good too, so it was hard to focus to spit out my own words.

He walked towards me, making me step back until my own back hit a wall. I looked around us. No one was watching.

Not yet.

"You know exactly what I'm talking about, babygirl" He said, placing both hands against the wall, on each side of my face. I was staring up at him either because he was so tall, or because I was so short, or both.

I remembered getting lost in those eyes. Eyes I could not read at all. They contained like some kind of shield, that did not allow anyone to look through them.

I also felt so intimidated under his stare, my only option was to look down, where our feet were, but he caught me, so he went ahead and lifted my chin up with his index finger.

"Don't be so scared," He chuckled. "I won't do anything bad, sweetheart. Just give me my wallet back"

I let out a fake giggle, covering the fear within me. "I told you, I have no other wallet but my own." I caressed his cheek with the back of my hand, pulling him now under my spell. I couldn't allow his victory.

"Are you," I trailed off, running my fingers down his shoulders "Accusing me? Ethan?" I smirked as I saw his jaw clench and unclench.

"You know my name?" He flashed a half smirk.

I scoffed and rose my eyebrow, crossing my arms. "Who doesn't?"

"I feel flattered, but quit playing around. I ain't got time for this, babygirl"

I had to admit, every little nickname he had given me made me weak. I was just simply not showing it at all.

"And I ain't got time for your little accusations"

He sighed and stood straight back up as he pinched his nose. His strong arms wrapped around my tiny waist and pulled me close to him, making  me gasp in surprise.

Our faces were centimetres away from each other while our lips were only inches away. My heart began pounding in my ribcage, I thought for once, it was gonna burst out my ribcage.

He smiled.

"Knew it"
