Three months after the incident, I moved in with Jannie, a friend of mine during high school times. She was the one who took care of me then.

I tried my hardest to stay strong. Not for myself, but for the baby.

I didn't talk much, or went out much. Although, the one time I went out, I bought some white flowers and headed towards the cemetery. Jannie was there with me, and as we walked towards the twins' grave, we noticed there were people there.

A woman. A man. And a lady. All dressed in black.

The closer I got, the clearer their faces were. It was the twins' family, and they were giving them a visit as well.

As much as I wanted to go back home to avoid them, I couldn't, for they had already seen me. And the more steps I took towards the twin's grave, the more I could feel their hatred towards me.

I couldn't blame them, since I was the reason for their sons' death. Their piercing eyes glared at me as I walked to where they stood.

"Good morning-" I tried greeting them as nice as I could, but got interrupted by a stinging pain on my cheek.

That's when I realized, Mrs. Dolan had raised a hand against me. She was crying, in pure agony. Then again, I couldn't blame her. I would have done the same thing.

Jannie gasped "Raine" She mumbled, as she placed her hands on my shoulder, checking on me if I was okay. I mumbled that I was, and dropped my gaze at the ground in embarrassment.

I could not look them in the eye at that moment.

"Mom" Cameron said, grabbing her arm to stop her from walking any closer to me.

"How dare you even show your face to us" She said through gritted teeth. More tears streamed down my face.

I was crying too. Not because of the pain, but because of guilt. And worse thing was, not being able to say anything, for there was absolutely nothing I could say, but a simple apology.

"Sorry" I whispered.

"Sorry is not going to take my sons' life back!" She yelled at me and got herself free from Cameron's grip, which allowed her to hit me another time.

I was weak, and defenseless. So all I could do was stand there and receive all the mean words and the bruises.

And that was not even half of what I deserved.

"Stop it!" Jannie yelled, pushing Mrs Dolan away from me.

"Mom!" Cameron cried as his father grabbed her wife's wrists.

"Come on Lisa." He muttered to his crying wife and looked at me one last time."Just go" He mumbled before leaving with his family.

I dropped the flowers to the ground and fell onto my knees letting the tears roll down my cheeks.

Then I noticed something worse. My stomach began stinging, aching as I cried.

Blood began rolling down my legs.
