Her cold body lies across the bathtub, underwater. Her lips were pale, and her eyes were open but colorless.

The water began flooding the bathroom, and Jannie soon noticed. Her mouth hung agape, her hands automatically covered her mouth in shock, as tears began blurring her vision.

"No" Was all she could whisper to herself repeatedly, unable to accept the scenery before her eyes.

"Jack!" She yelled in fear. Tears began rolling down her eyes. "Jack! Hurry! Please!" She yelled a little louder this time.

Jack, who just got to Jannie's home not too long ago, came running up the stairs. His eyebrows were furrowed in confusion and annoyance, thinking Jannie was being bossy.

But then his face fell, and filled with fear once he realized his best friend was gone from this cruel world.

"No. Fuck. Raine." He walked fast towards the bathtub, crouching down and wrapping an arm around her shoulders to lift her head up.

"Raine. Wake up. C'mon. This isn't funny" Jack mumbled, as he leaned his ear close to her mouth to check if she was still breathing.

"Raine." Jannie cried. She couldn't walk any closer. Her legs were frozen in place. So she stood by the door frame, with many more tears streaming down her face. Hand still covering her mouth.

"Wake up. C'mon" Jack said through gritted teeth. His eyes were wet, as he began sobbing quietly.

He carefully leaned her head against the corner of the tub, and placed his hands on top of each other, on Raine's chest, trying to revive her. But it was too late.

Eventually, Jack gave up, and sat on the floor with tears rolling down his cheeks.

"What's going on here guys?" Michelle asked.

"She's gone."

What Raine didn't know, is that she still had hope. She still had a reason to live another day.

Michelle and Dom were both still alive.

And so was Luke.
