02:54AM」Melrose Avenue, 117.
03:00AM.
Don't be late. And don't bring anybody else. The second I received the text of the meeting place and the time, we all got going.
"Y'all know what to do. Let's go." Dom said as his gun made a clicking sound.
Taking a deep breath, I shoved my pistol into the back of my belt and grabbed the suitcase.
We used two different separate cars; Michelle and Dom were in one, while Ethan, Luke and I were in another.
I could feel my heart beating through my chest as I stared out the window, watching the moon who gently smiled down at me.
Ethan noticed. He grabbed my hand, making me turn my head to face him and flashed me a small smile.
"You'll be fine. I promise." He reassured me.
I nodded, returning a small smile and turned my head again to watch the buildings pass by underneath the starless night.
All my life, I had been working so hard for this moment. And it was here now.
We got off the car and Dom signed Luke and Ethan to go to their positions. They nodded and ran cautiously and silently into the the dark while Dom and Michelle did the exact same thing, except opposite direction.
They all hid behind different, garage columns, holding their guns up to their chests, waiting for their next signal.
I was all alone then in that abandoned looking garage. It was dark and the lights were deem. I could barely see anything or anyone at all.
I walked right in with the suitcase in my hand as I held the gun with the other.
"I'm here." I said loud enough. The words echoed through the entire building. "Bring my sister forward to where I can see her" I spoke.
I looked around, staying alert for any sudden movements or any sudden noise. But nothing came up. I looked at Dom and Luke, who also seemed confused at the entire thing.
Ethan shrugged, and Michelle looked at Dom, whispering something in his ear. He then signalled me to stay in my position until they appeared.
I nodded and took a deep breath, waiting patiently. It wasn't long before I heard a low chuckle coming somewhere in the darkness of the abandoned garage.
My eyebrows furrowed as I looked around. "Show yourself." I spoke loudly.
We heard footsteps, and soon 4 shadows appeared. The kings of Melrose themselves, personally handling business.
They were all wearing dark clothes. Hooded jackets and faded jeans.
And no, they were not old. In fact, they were around my age. People who had been through worse things than me. They held a grudge against me, since they once invited me to join them, but denied the offer.
I guessed that memory was still fresh in their minds.
They began walking towards my direction, the deem light hitting their faces making it able for me to finally see them face to face.
They had the most irritating smirks on their faces, as they toyed around with their weapons, switching the knife from one hand to other.
"Welcome. Raine" The alpha said, extending his arms up in the air, chuckling deviously.
"Where's my sister." I spat.
"Where's our money?" He said in a mocking voice as his smirk widened.
I dropped the suitcase open, and turned it over with my feet for them to see. Two of them began walking towards the suitcase, but I stopped them, aiming the gun towards them both.
"Don't move any closer, or I fucking swear I'll blow your heads off" I spat through gritted teeth.
"Give me my damn sister and the money's yours. As simple as that, Ivan." I told them, earning only low laughs from them.
"Get the the kid, boys." Ivan ordered. Lukas and Ryan, the tallest two in their group and walked to get a big black bag, where I heard muffled screams.
"ANNA" I yelled. The cries getting louder.
"You fucking bastards, get her out of there!" I cried.
Ivan clicked his tongue three times before shaking his head. Tears were already streaming down my face.
"Money, little Red. Don't make me repeat myself now." He said, extending his hand. The nickname reminding me of what Grayson used to call me.
I swallowed my pride and calmed myself, sobbing only quietly.
Stay calm, Raine. I told myself.
Cole, the one with blue eyes and also the youngest one, walked over to me, the bag in his hand. I walked towards him too, with the suitcase in my hand.
Our hands extended out, as we slowly exchanged the items we desired. Or in my case, the person I wanted to have back.
"Careful now, Raine." He smirked, both items in our hands now. My heart was pounding through my chest out of fear. My hands were slightly sweating as I felt the anxiety travelling through my veins.
We let go of the other person's item and slowly stepped back, I unzipped the bag, and saw Anna for the first time in years.
I cried as I hugged her tightly. She hugged back, crying on my shoulder.
I missed her so much, and I was so glad to have her back by my side. We stood up from the ground as I lightly pushed her behind me, protecting them from the kings.
There was one odd thing about them, and that was, they still weren't leaving yet, as if they sensed other people in the room.
I gulped, and aimed my gun at them for defense, praying they wouldn't find out about the others in this abandoned, old looking garage.
I noticed Lukas whisper something to Ivan, as a smirk spread on his lips.
Ivan cocked his head to the side and grinned wider, perky white teeth showing.
"You disobeyed our rules." He pointed at me, and pulled the trigger.
