"I can't believe it, I know the war has spread far but Omashu always seemed... untouchable," Aang said in disbelief glaring back at the City.
"Nothing can stop the Fire Nation from spreading," Iris said sadly noticing Sokka from behind placing his hand on her shoulder.
"Up until now it was," Sokka said "Now Ba Sing Se is the only great Earth Kingdom stronghold left,"
"This is horrible," Katara said walking towards Aang and she stood beside him "But we have to move on,"
"No, I'm going in to find Bumi," Aang said determinedly but Iris stopped him saying.
"Wait, Aang, we don't even know if Bumi is still a-"
"If he's what?!" Aang snapped.
"...around," Sokka saved her to this.
"I know you had your heart set on Bumi but there are other people who can teach you earth bending," Katara said.
"This isn't about finding a teacher, this is about finding my friend,"

They decided to get in the City, find Bumi the sooner the better and get out of there before getting into trouble. They, of course, got into trouble, after being chased around the City from fire benders the Omashu Resistance found them...
"The day of the invasion we readied ourselves for battle. We were prepared to save our City, fight for our lives and for our freedom. But before we even had the chance, King Bumi surrendered,"
Iris frowned "Crazy old man," she muttered.
"...the day of the invasion I asked King Bumi what he wanted to do, he looked me in the eye and he said: I'm gonna do... nothing! It doesn't matter now, fighting the Fire Nation is the only path to freedom. And true freedom is worth dying for,"
"Okay, that's stupid, it doesn't work that way. You can just leave and fight another day," Iris said crossing her arms.
"You're directing all your energy to fight the Fire Nation but you're outnumbered, you can't win. Now is the time to retreat so you can live to fight another day," Aang said.
"You don't understand, they've taken our home and we have to find them at any cost!"
"I don't know, Yao, live to fight another day sounds good to me,"
The crowd agreed with the idea and Yao nodded "Fine, but there are thousands of Citizens that need to leave, how are we gonna get them all out?"
"SUCKERS!" Now everyone turned and looked at Sokka who smiled widely "You're all about to come down with the nasty case of Pentapox,"
Sokka's idea was smart. Iris should hand him that. He had actually grown to a smart guy, still not having the ideal skills to fight but... he was... nice.
"The marks make it look sick but you gotta act sick too, you gotta sell it," Sokka said as an old man with a wooden leg walked in front of them wincing in each of his moves. "Now that's what I'm talking about," Sokka said pointing at the old man.
"Years of practice,"
"Okay everyone, into Sick-Formation," Sokka said as the villagers started walking away and he walked along with them.
