She ran as fast as she could and she stopped in front of the Statue in the middle of the village. Toph tried to fight the ones who chased her, but before she even had the chance she was trapped within a net and she fell down.
"How could you do this to me? You betrayed me!" Toph exclaimed angrily.
"You brought this on yourself, I had no choice," Katara said crossing her arms while the Fire Nation soldiers dragged Toph away...
~<O>~ Three Days Earlier ~<O>~
Iris and Aang stood in their stances with blindfolds tied around their eyes blocking their sight. They were training their earth bending and water bending with Toph and Katara and it was time for a nice sparring.
Iris felt familiar vibrations coming from the right side. This was definitely Toph getting in her stance. Aang felt other familiar vibrations from the left side. This was Katara getting in her stance.
"Okay, we're ready for some training," Aang said tying tighter the blindfold on his eyes.
"Hey, Iris, are you sure you can train. Two days ago you couldn't even walk," Sokka said.
"You know after that attack with the Assassin I feel like I need to get back on track," Iris said tying the blindfold at her eyes and she walked towards Aang between their two teachers.
Iris hit her one foot powerfully on the ground, to scan her surroundings with her earth bending. She spotted Toph and Katara and her brother who stood beside her. They both got in their stances and they turned at their two teachers touching their backs together.
While Aang started avoiding some boulders on the soil, Katara threw spiky icy pieces towards Iris and she started avoiding them all with single moves. Iris had to admit, she used air bending more that earth bending to feel the spikes. But then she felt Toph throwing her a boulder while Aang sent a water blast at Katara. Iris punched the boulder thrusting it to thousand pieces of dust and sending one of them towards Toph.
"Good job, drama-queen, visualize, then attack!"
Iris felt a water blast approaching from behind and she immediately bowed letting the water blast hit Toph. As the blind earth bender shoot a rock towards Aang, Aang bowed letting the boulder fall on Katara.
"Maybe you should take your own advice, Toph!" Katara said angrily placing her hands on her waist exasperatedly.
Aang got out of the ground, but he didn't attack neither Iris did, as the two teachers started arguing.
"What's the matter? Can't handle some dirt, Madam fussy-britches?" Toph said teasingly mocking her.
Katara's eye twitched in anger and Iris couldn't help but laugh at the comment. She bent a wave of water from the pond beside them and she sent it towards Toph making sure Aang and Iris wouldn't get wet.
"Oh, sorry, did I splash you, mud-slug!?" Katara asked angrily.
"Mud-slug, really?" Iris asked, "There are so many offending things you can call her, right now," she said still not being able to see thanks to the blindfold. But he could feel Katara's deadly look falling on her and she giggled nervously.
