Everyone wearing their normal clothes, Sokka and Katara in the blue water tribe colors, Toph wearing her earth kingdom green kimono, and Iris wearing her black-red Assassin suit with her daggers fitted in many places no one could see. Her sword was wrapped in the case on her belt and the case with the bow and the arrows was wrapped behind her back. She was ready for a big fight and she was in good mood.
Still, she sat beside Sokka, studying the plans with three maps of the Fire Nation sprawled on the grass in front of them. Sokka seemed nervous, studying the plans, again and again, readying himself for explaining them to the Invasion Force that was on their way.
"Nervous?" Iris asked handing him a cup of water and sitting on her knees beside him.
"Yeah, you?" Sokka asked.
Iris shrugged turning her gaze to the plans. She felt... nothing. Just nothing. Part of her was relieved that her old self had returned but most of it was unsure. "Maybe," she answered taking a sip from her water.
"Top on the morning, Momo!" Aang's voice heard from behind as he jumped ten feet from the ground and he landed at the same area with the others.
"Sounds like you slept well," Katara said smiling.
"Like a baby moose-lion, I'm ready to face the Fire Lord!" Aang said excitedly and determinedly.
"So what's your strategy for taking him down?" Toph asked "Gonna get your glow on and hit with some Avatar State action?" she asked excitedly.
"I can't, when Azula shot me with lightning my seventh chakra was locked cutting off all of my connection to all the cosmic energy of the universe," Aang explained and everyone stared blankly at him.
"You know what I just heard? Blah, blah, some spiritual mumbo jumbo, blah, blah, something about space," Toph said indifferently.
"Same thing, here," Iris agreed.
A fog, covering a part of the sea, could be seen from the high cliff they stood. Katara made a step further and she asked "Oh, no. Sokka, Iris, do you think the fog will delay the Invasion?"
Iris and Sokka made a step further and tried to take a better look. Iris chuckled and she said "No,"
"That is the Invasion!" Sokka said.
The Foggy Swamp Tribe water benders used the fog as a cover and as they approached the island all the seven ships of the Southern Water Tribe appeared. Aang, Toph and Iris used their earth bending to create jetties at the harbor where the ships finally arrived and the Invasion force walked out.
Everyone was there. All the friends they had made during their journeys around the Earth Kingdom.
Katara ran towards her father and she hugged him tightly "You made it, dad!"
"Were you able to locate everyone we told you to find?" Sokka asked as he with Iris walked towards Hakoda.
"I did, but I'm a little worried, Sokka. Some of these men aren't exactly the warrior type," Hakoda said looking at Tho and Due who walked out of the ship.
"Woo Wee! This place ain't nothing like the swamp!" Due said "What would you recommend that is, Tho? Some short of a Fire Nation exploding trap that wanna eat ya?" Due asked pointing on a rock in the sea.
"It's just a rock, Due," Tho said.
"Well, oh my!" Due said excitedly.
"Is it just me or are those fellows a little loose on leaf head?" Hakoda asked.
