The Tale of Katara & Toph
Another day in Ba Sing Se dawned. Team Avatar woke up and they started getting ready for the day. Aang shaved his head like he did every other morning, Sokka couldn't stand the temptation to stare at his muscles in front of the mirror, and Katara pushed back her hair loopies.
Only Toph was still on the bed and Katara walked towards her room to wake her. When she opened the door she saw a strange creature with hair flying off her head and dirt covering her entire body... Yup, definitely Toph...
"Toph, aren't you gonna get ready for the day?" Katara asked.
Toph woke up spitting a pebble off her mouth and wiping some of the dust off her body. "I'm ready," she said.
"Aren't you gonna wash up?" Katara asked pointing at her "You've got a little dirt on your... everywhere, actually,"
"You call it dirt, I call it a healthy coating of earth," Toph answered.
"Hmm... you know what we need? A girls' day out!" Katara said smiling.
"Do I have to?" Toph asked boringly.
"Common, it will be fun!"

"...one of the good things about being blind is that I don't have to waste my time worrying about appearances. I don't care what I look like, I'm not looking for anyone to approval. I know who I am," Toph said a small tone of hurt in her voice as she stopped walking.
"That's what I really admire about you, Toph. You're so strong and confident. I know it doesn't matter but... you're really pretty," Katara said tapping her friend's shoulder consolingly.
"I am?" Toph asked as a small smile appeared on her lips.
"Yeah, you are," Katara said and they continued walking.
"I'd return the compliment but I have no idea how you look like," Toph said. Katara giggled amusingly. "Thank you, Katara," Toph said and she punched her friend's shoulder making her wince.

The Tale of Iroh
Walking around the markets of the Lower Ring, Iroh and Iris got to meet many kind citizens. She had finally gotten used in calling Iroh her uncle and the name 'Lin'. She didn't expect that she would get used to that life so easily. But the reason they had gotten out shopping was because Lu Ten's birthday. He had done so much for her, celebrating his birthday was the least she could do.
"How about that basket, Iroh?" Iris suggested pointing in one between the many of the shop.
"If this is for a romantic picnic, may I suggest this, lavender, one," The shop keeper said.
Iris chuckled "No it's not a romantic picnic," she said.
"But it is a special occasion," Iroh said as he handed over the man one silver coin and he gave the basket to Iris.
As they started walking away, Iris stopped when she realized that Iroh wasn't following. She turned around at his familiar saying "The moon-flower, likes shade," and then he bowed at the kind man and he walked away.
"Common, uncle,"
After a long moment of walking, they finally reached a music shop, selling instruments. That's where she heard an annoying crying of a baby, ripping her ears. She wasn't really good with babies, not after her imprisonment at least.
