Chapter Thirty two- Unedited

I tuned them all out and watched Kayden clean the kitchen. She was so perfect. Every aspect of her was the definition of perfect. I watched her wash dishes, and get really frustrated when her hair fell in her eyes.

"Alpha" Zach said waving him hand in front of my face.

"What?" I snapped.

"Jase be nice" Kayden told me from the kitchen, I sighed and turned to Zach.

"What?" I asked again.

"I asked you when we were taking her to the border line?" he asked.

"Why are we taking her to the border line?" Marcos asked.

"Isn't that highly dangerous?" He added.

"Yes" I replied

"but the Luna talked him into it" Zach told him.

"Zach stop calling me that" Kayden snapped from the kitchen.

"Kayden, be nice" I said mocking her from earlier, she gave me a finger and stuck her tongue out at me.

"Why?" Chris, one of the guys Marcos brought asked.

"She knows how he got in" Micah said.

"How?" Nigel asked.

"She knows everything" Adam told him, Kayden scoffed from the kitchen and rolled her eyes.

"How do you know?" Mike asked her.

"I used to work for the council" she told me turning the sink off.

"Doing what?" he asked.

"stuff" she replied.

"What kind of stuff?" he asked her.

"Just stuff" she told him, I could tell she uncomfortable.

"Well-"

"Mike, stop" I told him, I knew she just shot him a wink but I didn't catch her.

"So when are we taking her?" Zach asked.

"How long is it going to take love?" I asked her.

"Probably a few hours" she answered, I tensed and so did almost every other person here.

"I don't like that" Zach said.

"Me either" Micah sounded.

"why not?" she asked.

"It just doesn't feel right" Marcos told her.

Andre mind linked me telling me I had some paperwork to look over at the pack house.

I sighed "I have to leave you guys can stay and guard her if you want" I told them.

"ill be back in an hour love" I said kissing her cheek.

"Jase" she said very quietly under her breath.

"yes?" I asked she stared at me for a minute just studying my face.

"be careful" was all she said, I knew that's not what she was going to say in the first, I knew whatever I was, was important because she called me Jase. I gave her a confused look. I left going to the pack house pulling a shirt with a pocket on it on.

I went to my office some of the guys were already there, I sat down and started reading and signing stuff. I checked the time seeing it was about 5. Shit.

The door opened and Kayden cautiously walked in.

"babe I'm so sorry, I lost track of ti-"

"I'm pregnant" she blurted out cutting me off. I froze, staring at her. She looked scared out of her mind.
