“Jase that’s not-“

“possible?” he finished for me “it’s the goddess Kayden anything is possible” he turned around and went out through the door, I just sat there frozen. Pregnant? What? How did this even happen? Why am I freaking out? I'm not pregnant, why am I worried? I'm fine. Jase is just overreacting. I'm not going to the doctor, I'm not pregnant. I am perfectly healthy and in good shape and unmated. And its going to stay that way for a really long time.

I slowly pulled my clothes back on. And went to the door that Jase had disappeared through, I was back in his office. So he had an office and a study? Jase was on the phone, he said bye and hung up.

“Come on” he said picking my jackets up, and holding them out for me.

“I'm not cold” I told him. He sighed and went back to the study and returned with his jeans on, he picked his shirt up off the floor and pulled it on.

“I'm taking you to the doctor” he told me motioning for me to go to the door, I stayed in my place by the study door.

“That’s going to be a problem, because I'm not going to a doctor”

“yes you are” he replied.

“nope” was my only reply.

“Kayden your going to the doctor and that is final” he told me using his alpha voice, too bad it didn’t work on me. I didn’t even flinch.

“I'm not going to the doctor, I'm going home” I told him, I glared at him waiting to see if he would argue.

“I'll take you home after you go see the doctor” he told me.

“I'm going home now” I told him.

“no your going to the doctor now”

“what did the doctor say? What did you tell him?” I asked.

“he said he’d have to evaluate you before he makes any final decisions” he told me.

“Well there's no need because I'm fine”

“Kayden you aren’t fine, your scent doesn’t just change for no reason” he told me.

“I tell you what if I'm still ‘sick’ as you put it by tomorrow morning then you can take me to the doctor” I told him, he considered that for a minute.

“Fine” he said. Now that that is settled, I want to go home and sleep, I'm tired for some reason, I pulled my boots on and walked out as he went to his desk. I went down the stairs, and went to the living room.

“Jordan” I said and he immediately got up and followed me outside.

“take me home’ I told him getting into his car.

“I'm not going to get in trouble with the alpha am I?” he asked, hesitating.

“No” I answered and settled back in my seat. I don’t remember falling asleep but I guess I did. I heard Jase and Jordan talking about his beta position in my dreams. I woke up in Jase’s bed, and I felt sick. I was about to puke my guts up.

I got up and quickly made my way to the bathroom, and threw up everything I have ever eaten in my life and flushed it all away.  Jase happened to be in closet.

“You couldn’t possibly be throwing up because pregnant right?” he asked more than likely standing in the doorway.

I gave him a finger I haven’t given him in a while “Stomach bug” I said weakly. Wow I sounded really weak, I don’t think I've ever sounded like that before. Jase sat down behind me and pulled me into his chest. He was leaning against the wall, he settled his hands on my stomach and the sickness seemed to vanish.
