Okay so the whole point of this is for them to get together. I'm having so much fun with them like being the way they were I kind of forgot that they have to get together soon. Hintssss

Melinda's POV

My breath hitched as the kiss deepened. My fingers tangled in his hair, his hand cupped my face. I melted at his touch, my skin feeling like it was on fire with every passing second.

The CD stopped playing, but we didn't.

His teeth grabbed onto my bottom lip, a small moan slides from my throat. My feet shuffle backwards as he comes impossibly closer. My back slams into the far wall, I grab his shirt pulling him closer to me. His left hand gripped my hip, his right slammed into the wall above my head.

My fingers reach low and grab the bottom of shirt, I eagerly pull it over his head, throwing across the room. His calloused hands grip at my chest, and rip my shirt open, exposing my black bra. The buttons from my shirt fly everywhere before he lowers his head and begins kissing my neck. My hands fumble with his belt buckle while he grabs my face, planting a forceful kiss upon my lips. I rip his belt off, hearing the medal smack the floor. I pop open the button on his jeans just as a body slams into the window at our left.

A scream emits my lips before Daryl pushes me into the far corner, away from the walkers view. His body hovers over mine. His body heat radiates, my face warms as I lean my head on his chest.

Growls echo from outside, hundreds of them. The walkers claw and bump into the house as they pass slowly. Their shadows stretch along the floor from the evening sun.

"I'm sorry." I quickly spit out. My hands lay softly on his chest, making chill bumps rise like on demand.

"For?" He whispers, looking down at me. Almost as if what he did before finally clicked in his mind, he lowers his hands from above me, his face becoming slightly hard.

"This wouldn't have happened if we just went home after looking here." My hands slowly slid off of his chest, them now at my sides. I stare at his chest, yearning to feel it on me again.

"Well we didn't." He mumbles. Another walker slams in the side of the house, their growls still heard. "Were probably going to be here a while. Might as well get comfortable." He sits down in the floor and leans into the wall. His legs crossed underneath him. I follow shortly.

"Can I ask you something?" I say lowly. I reach my hands up and close my shirt the best I can since the buttons are long gone.

"Depends." He quips.

"On?" My palms started to become damp as nerves crept upon me.

"If it's about what we just did, then no." He shakes his head. He picked at the dirt under his nails. I thought about what he said for a moment, thinking it may lead to that, but it wasn't one hundred percent about that.

"It's not about that." I tucked a piece of hair behind my ear.

"Then ask away." He gives me the go ahead.

"Did you really mean what you said at the cabin a few days ago?" It falls silent between us after that. The only noise was from the passing herd outside.

"What did I say at the cabin?" He avoids all eye contact, silently telling me that he knew exactly what I was talking about.

"That you loved me." I whisper. I look to the side at him, hoping to meet his soft blue eyes. He didn't say anything, he didn't even move.

"Do you love me, Daryl?" I choke on my words. My heart was still racing from before, but this kept it going.

He looks down at his hands, a straight line on his face. He's dead silent, I thought I'd never get an answer. I was beginning to give up when I heard him take in a breath.

"Yes." He swallows. "I do." He reaches his hands up and runs them through his hair. "I love ye." He sighs deeply.

"I-" I begin. A walker slams into the glass window a few feet next to us. This time, it leaves the room in a red hue.

"The fuck?" Daryl questions before the door swings open and a body stands in the doorway, making eye contact with the both of us.

"Merle?" Daryl breathes.
