Warning! Read First

This is my very first attempt at writing anything, let alone a fan fiction based on a very popular drama series.

However it seems I upset several readers who found this story revolting and culturally insensitive which was never my intention, so I do apologize to the Chinese people if you have taken this story literally.

However, I am not going to remove it, because for one, it is my very first attempt at writing anything which I am proud of, because I actually completed it, and secondly, because it gives me an incentive to always do better.

I would like to mention here, that I am not Chinese, or even Asian or even from the Orient, and since this drama came out, I have continued to write, learn and a grow.  Currently I have twenty three 3l3w fanfictions written... some I am far more proud of and others like this one, are still close to being deleted because I cringe everytime I am notified of a new reader.

All I can say is my head at that time was filled with a ton of western movies where we are far more liberal in how we do things, as well as other peoples fan fictions and on top of that, trying to grapple with subjects such as language, Immortality, Chinese culture and mythology and even giving children names.

Anyway, seriously, I really do suggest, if you are easily offended or highly sensitive to your culture, it would be best that you don't read any further. :-)

Yours kindly

Mo Yuan was still in seclusion.  He had been back for 4 months now, and his disciples had been kept busy cleaning Kunlun Mountain in his absence.  Die Feng having already delegated the multitude of individual tasks to his juniors, maintained the tranquility and peace to ensure his Master was not disturbed during his retreat.

Since Mo Yuans arrival, Kunlun Mountain had never known such activity as it had in his first 4 weeks of arrival.  Visitors from all the realms had arrived to meet the newly revived God of War, having heard the bell of Kunlun chiming in his return, which could be heard in all the realms.

His return was miraculous.  For 70,000 years his spirit lay waste to the eternal flame of nothingness, as he fought valiantly to return to his former life.  With the help of his brother Zhe Yan and his Little Seventeenth, he returned triumphant, though it cost Zhe Yan a considerable amount of his cultivation to make the elixir that would save his scattered soul.

As the son of The Heavenly Father and Heavenly Empress, he was respected, honored and revered by all.  His fame reached every corner of their world, including the mortal realm and everyone who met him, gave him the most reverent of greetings.

After a month of continuous visitors coming and going, Die Feng, seeing his masters weakening state, ordered the closure of the mountain, and forced Mo Yuan into seclusion.  Of course being the second prince of the West Sea,and having considerable experience in leading his army during the Mermaid wars, he too was not one to be reckoned with.  As Mo Yuans most senior disciple, he organised his juniors the same way he did his army, and Mo Yuan who was too weak to argue, gratefully entered his meditation cave without a word.

During Mo Yuans 70,000 year slumber, only Chang Shan, Mo Yuans second disciple had remained in his masters stead.  He did his best to maintain the monolithic buildings and sprawling grounds, however it was too much for one man.  Now that his master was back, all of his disciple brothers had returned with him, giving Chang Shan the opportunity to  do what he enjoyed the most.  Cooking was his passion, and with the return of his brothers, he set about the kitchen in earnest, creating many mouth watering delicacies as a reward for their hard work.  Kunlun Mountain had finally reclaimed its former glorious state.
