Epilogue Part 3.  Di Jun

Di Juns return to the Realms brought hundreds of thousands of well wishers to the Celestial Palace, and what a welcome he got.  The Skylord immediately declared a banquet of grand proportions be organized and for a whole month, they celebrated, until Di Jun demanded an end to it.  So issuing an order to disperse the guests, Ye Hua and Di Jun went into semi seclusion within Taichen Palace, Di Juns Palace, which had been left exactly how it was when he had left.

And they were not the only ones to return.  Si Ming also returned, having spent the past 3500 years in the Immortals Commune, having been gifted Di Juns residence for life time service, and with a charming young woman, he refused to talk about, though Bai Qian had met her several times, she promised to keep their privacy, which she did, not even mentioning her to Mo Yuan.

Now that the party had ended, and life was returning to normal, Di Jun became restless.  Not once had Feng Jiu visited.  In fact, thinking it about it now, none of the Qing Qiu clan had visited, not even Zhe Yan and Mo Yuan, who had been very close friends, and he was beginning to wonder why.

It was Ye Hua who informed him that because of the death of Qing Qius Tree Sprite and Mo Yuans 2nd disciple Chang Shan, as well as the near death of his First Disciple Die Feng, that the 4 Great Realms, Qing Qiu, Kunlun Mountain, The West Seas Palace and Bai Zhens Northern Estate had turned their backs on the Celestial Tribe.  His Grandfather had torn apart the Celestial Tribes alliance with many of the smaller clans as well.

"In fact." Ye Hua added.  "Qing Qiu, Kunlun Mountain, The Northern Estate and The West Seas Palace, have placed a ban on the Celestial Palace.  "No one from the 4 main Realms are allowed here."

"Very well, if she won't come to me, then I will go to her." he told Si Ming preparing to leave immediately.

It was Ye Hua who stopped him.  "Di Jun, Princess Feng Jiu has already been promised to the Prince of the East Seas.  The marriage arrangement was made before you returned, and it was when the ban was still in place.  Though neither of them want the marriage, it has remained, and because of that, she had been banned from visiting you."

Di Jun looked at him in horror.  He did not go through all that trouble to lose her now.  "Shouldn't she be the Queen of Qing Qiu by now?" he asked, then shaking head, he laughed, something they were all still getting used to.  "I mean ..... never mind." then turning, he left straight for Qing Qiu.  He had temporarily forgotten Bai Qian now had her own children and would inherit the Fox Clans titles.

The Fox Den was full, Mo Yuan and Bai Qian with their children,  had returned to welcome back Bai Zhi and Zhe Yan who had come out of seclusion, as was Bai Yi and Bai Zhen.   Feng Jiu, who had been cooking all day, was excited, it had been a long time since the den was this lively and with her young cousins there, they brought the den to life once more.  

Mi Gu would have loved these children, she thought to herself as entered the den with the trays of food and it was as she was placing the food on the table that Di Jun arrived.

Without Mi Gu there, he had instantly collapsed their barrier at the entrance and walked straight in, and because they were all so busy with the children, no one noticed the barrier collapse or Di Juns arrival until Feng Jiu dropped the plate of freshly made bread causing everyone to look up.

"Di Jun" she cried, as she immediately ran forward and threw her arms around his waist, while his automatically pulled her closer.  His eyes shone brightly at the sight of her, and as her family looked on in shock, they also had no doubt as to the purpose of his visit going by the way he was looking down at her.
