Ye Hua was lying in bed thinking back over the past couple days.  Having spent his whole life isolated without friends or siblings, never could he have imagined he had not been alone after all.

His thoughts took him back to his first meeting with his brother who he never knew existed.

Ye Hua was sitting at the low table in the hutt at the Peach Grove, preparing missives for his Palace attendants, when Mo Yuan walked into the room.  Shocked at the sudden appearance he stood quickly to face him.

All his life he had been compared to The War God, some even suggesting he was his reincarnation.  Everywhere he went, he was mistaken for him and each time he denied it.  It became so common, Ye Hua instantly knew 'the look' they gave him, before they said a word.

Now standing before him, Ye Hua could see why.  Raising his hands he greeted him "High God Mo Yuan." needing no introduction.

Looking at his brother, Mo Yuans eyes softened.  This boy, he had personally raised, when his father gave him his spirit enveloped in a golden lotus, which he nurtured in the Kunlun Mountain Lotus Pond for 200,000 years  He was the spitting image of his younger self, though they still looked almost identical.

Giving him a nod, Mo Yuan, turned to his aide and dismissed him from the room causing Ye Huas brows to raise.  His aide, knowing who Mo Yuan was, did not argue, instead leaving the room swiftly and closing the door behind him, his eyes not leaving Ye Huas once.

"Sit down Ye Hua,"  he commanded, before moving to the window to look out at the Peach Grove, with his back to him and his hands behind his back.

Ye Hua, sensing this man before him had something important to say, kept quiet, though he was not liking the way he was going about it.  He sat down.

Turning back to face his brother, Mo Yuan began to tell Ye Hua the story of his true origins and their relationship to each other, and as the story unfolded, Mo Yuan watched his brothers eyes widen significantly.

"Well that explains everything." Ye Hua smiled up at him, still shocked that the revered War God was actually his twin brother.

Ye Hua had many dreams over the years of the lotus pond but there was one thing he needed to know. "I have memories of the Lotus pond." he told his brother "But I also have memories of a boy who would sit and talk to me and sometimes just sit and quietly play with me."  he told him.  "Who is he High God Mo Yuan?"  he asked.

It was the opening Mo Yuan was waiting for.

"Im glad you asked." he said smiling back at him.  "The boy, is my Seventeenth Disciple Si Yin, and The Queen of Qing Qiu Bai Qian." he informed him, watching Ye Huas expression go from puzzlement to shock instantaneously.

Ye Hua had heard the stories of the War Gods relationship with his Seventeenths Disciple and instantly knew why he was there.  He also instinctively knew, the pleasantries were over.

Suddenly Ye Huas smile disappeared and his eyes darkened considerably.  "I see!" he said, standing and facing his brother head on.

Mo Yuans eyes too narrowed and darkened.  "Do you?" he asked him, his glare whipping into his brother as he continued.

"Ye Hua.  What are your intentions?"  his question could not have been any more direct, and Ye Hua was prepared for him.

"Let me ask you a question High God."  Ye Huas tone now synchronized with his brothers, his own glare lashing back at him.

"Do you believe in fate?" he asked.  Not bothering to wait for an answer, he continued.  "Have you ever considered the reason why it was Bai Qian who nurtured me in your Lotus Pond every day for thousands of years, and why she was betrothed to me, High God ?" His smirk taking on a smugness that Mo Yuan was not prepared for, but he was going to meet him head on.
