Waking to the bright light of the Mortal Realm day, Bai Qian looked around, to find Ye Hua had already risen and going by the soft sounds coming from the kitchen, he was preparing breakfast.

Quickly rising, she rushed in to join him.  Smiling at her, he pushed a small tray towards her as he led her to the table, his own breakfast in hand.

"We'll leave after breakfast." he told her smiling, he wanted to visit the little settlement she had told him about, and perhaps pick up some fresh produce and meat while they were there.  They had hibernated much of the winter away, as the little coastal commune was not ideal for the colder months.  The south winds battered their surrounding hillocks relentlessly causing the freezing cold winds to blow through the gaps in the door.

It had been 3 months already, and though they were on friendly terms, Ye Hua decided he would take his time with her and let her get to know him properly and with Spring in the air, he couldn't be happier.

Bai Qian hadn't realized how hungry she was as she devoured everything he dished up for her, including the mushrooms, which she had never liked.  For some reason, they tasted a lot sweeter than she remembered.  Maybe its the warmer weather she thought, as she helped Ye Hua tidy up and prepare to leave.

Taking one of her scarves from the coat rack at the door, he snuggly wrapped it around her neck.  "I don't want you to get sick Qian Qian, so wear this, and keep warm." He smiled down at her, before lightly dropping a small kiss on top of her head before stroking her cheek  gently.

Ducking her head shyly at him, she just nodded, and stepped back as he opened the door, with a small smile on his lips.  He knew, she was a little slow with her love, so he too would move at her pace, though the urge to taste her full red pouty lips again was hard to resist. Patience! He told himself, he had plenty of time ahead of them.

"Di Jun, you know he's not here." Mo Yuan scowled at him.  His temper was frayed tightly, and his friend was fraying it every second he sat there staring at that damned cup.

Calling Zhi Lan to come, he ordered his disciple to collect his own personal tea set from his chamber.

Raising his hand to stop him, Di Jun suddenly put the cup down and looked up.

Mo Yuan was never able to understand his friends moods or dead pan looks, in fact no one could, save maybe Feng Jiu, and Si Ming his star lord, but looking at him now, he had a feeling his friend knew where they were.

The afternoon sun was still shining brightly above them and the warmth caused him to smile slightly as he looked back at Mo Yuan.  "The seasons move so quickly.   Like the leaves, love can brighten and die as the months disappear.  It can also blossom as the season progresses." he said cryptically.

Fed Up Mo Yuan slammed his fist into the table.  As much as he cared for his friend, a man who he had known all of his life, his riddles and cryptic garbage, was causing his anger to snap.  "DI JUN!" he roared.  "If you know where she is, then say it."

Suddenly a general from the Celestial Tribe, having seen Mo Yuans angry display towards their own High God Di Jun and fearing for his safety, immediately gave the order for his army to attack, his men immediately rushing forward, causing Mo Yuans army to retaliate in full scale warfare.

Into the fray ran his own disciples as they raised their swords at their own armies and lurched forward.

Before Mo Yuan could even comprehend what had just happened, both sides had drawn their swords, and were rushing head first into each other, with swords and fire arrows flying in all directions.  The battle cries of every General could now be heard echoing through the surrounding valleys as hundreds of men died around them.
