Di Jun. Part 3

Di Juns was sleeping soundly and his dreams took him back to his beginning. 

Di Jun was the second son of Di Huang, the ruler of the First Dragon Clan Yáng hóngsè huǒyàn. 

 His life consisted of following in his older brother Di Zhěn Xīns footsteps, doing as he did, acting as he did, and obeying his every command.  Being the younger of the two, Di Jun felt he was never going to be as good as his older brother in his fathers eyes, who seemed to lavish him with more affection and more attention that he did with Di Jun.  Though these were merely feelings of a much younger brother, when in fact his father loved them all the same, but to Di Jun, his brother received everything  just because he was older.

His two younger brothers Di Bi Liǔ and Di Huǒ Niǎo, were his only friends, and together they would cause all manner of mischief for their oldest brother in the hope  his father would lose a little love for him.  Their jealousy of their older brother knew no bounds as their scheming became more wicked with every mischievous prank they pulled on him.  In the end, his older brother, cut them off completely.  In his oldest brothers mind, he no longer had younger brothers.  

As the boys grew into adulthood, they became the most sought after among the female tribal members, each vying for their attention everywhere they went.  They were all extremely wealthy, held high status and devastatingly handsome, and all very similar in appearance, though the oldest brother was by far the tallest, strongest and most wanted due to being the first in line as Ruler of their entire world.  This infuriated Di Jun so much, he went out of his way to win every woman who dared to look at his brother, causing their rift to deepen more. 

 It wasnt until the arrival of  Chenguang, that their bitter rift turned to pure hatred.  Both brothers fell in love with her.  She was considered to be the most beautiful of all the female Dragons, and what a beauty she was.  Her golden hair hung in waves about her lithe human form, which also enveloped her delicately chiseled face.  Her eyes were a sparkling sapphire blue and they shone as bright as the first dawn giving her face an almost otherworldly appearance. 

In her Dragon form, she was a stunning Golden haired, blue eyed Dragoness, the only Golden female dragon ever to grace their world, and as such, she too became the most sought after marriage prospect, with proposals coming thick and fast from all corners of the realm.  Though, once it became known the brothers were vying for her, every other male had no choice but to step back, immediately withdrawing their proposals.

Knowing her father would accept his older brothers proposal because of his higher status, Di Jun appeared before her, every chance he got, until she fell in love with him.  And it wasn't as if he was a poor second, he too was the son of Di Huang regardless, a fine prospective husband, and her father gave permission for them to marry after she informed her father of her wish to marry him.

Realizing he had lost the only woman he had ever loved, his older brother challenged him to a battle for her, the winner would take her as his wife and the loser would walk away forever.  

Di Jun couldn't see the point in it since he had already won her heart.  His answer was to turn up to their designated battle ground with her on his arm, where he openly kissed her in front of his brother to taunt him.  And because Di Jun had already turned her thoughts away from his brother, she laughed at his older brothers desire to battle for her when she had already selected her life partner.

So enraged was his brother, that he automatically attacked Di Jun, forcing him into a deadly battle, that severely injured the both of them.  If it hadn't been for the interference of their father, one would have lost his life for this woman.
