Mo Yuan, Bai Qian, Ye Hua

Part 42

The Wedding. Part 3.

Once Mo Yuan had washed and dressed himself and was once again looking the very dignified Groom, he sat down next to Bai Qian, who was still sprawled across the bed unable to move and still trying to catch her breath.  Lifting her head up into his lap, he cradled her gently as he stroked her hair, while the love he felt for her glowed from every pore in his body. 

 Looking down at her, as she looked up at him he shook his head lightly in awe.  "Qian Qian, I will be forever grateful for the happiness and joy you have brought into my life.  Every part of you takes my breath away, and should my voice find no words, it will be in my eyes that you will find the depth of my heart.  Because within my eyes, I can see with each passing day I will love you more.  Today more than yesterday.  And even less than tomorrow." then lowering his head, he kissed her lips lightly.

Bai Qian was dumb struck.  Never had he spoken this way to her before and she could do nothing by cry as she looked up at him.  Reaching up to stroke his cheek, she smiled.  "I love you too." she sobbed against him.  It wasn't as poetic as his vow of love, but she meant every word.

Then gently releasing her he rose and lifted the privacy barrier, where her mother and 7 Qing Qiu girls were waiting to prepare Bai Qian once more for their wedding banquet.  Also waiting outside was Zhe Yan, Die Feng and Lian Song who also entered to lay witness to the Bridal Chamber union.  

Taking in the satisfied smile on a very disheveled Bai Qians face, the disorderly wine covered bedding and the heavy aroma of their love making, the men threw their arms about Mo Yuans shoulders, and with much laughter and ribbing, they led him from the chamber to the Grand Hall to toast his prowess.

Unable to stand, being too weak and even more in love with her new husband, Bai Qians mother had to almost pull her from the bed, so she could be bathed, and changed into her Dinner dress, a beautiful five layered gown of silk and lace in Qing Qius pastel yellow.   And in between her giggles and tears and more giggles they managed to get her dressed, her hair returned to its original glamorous state with her soft curls once again falling freely about her face, and her make up on.  

Then turning to the bed, her mother gave the girls the order to prepare the bed for the evening, when her eyes fell on the string of beads, still glistening with her daughters dew.  Bai Qian at that moment happened to notice where her mothers gaze had drifted to and in embarrassment, quickly grabbed the beads and hid them in her sleeve pocket before turning the brightest red.

Coughing politely, her mother led her out of the chamber, now fully convinced of her daughters perverted promiscuity, back to the Grand Hall where she would join Mo Yuan to be led together to the Banquet table, by her entire family, Kunlun Mountains Disciples and The Celestial Tribes attendees.

On entering, all eyes suddenly turned to stare in awe.  Even Zhe Yan gave her an appreciative look as all conversation came to a halt amid gasps and shocked stares.  Proudly leading her daughter to her husband, her mother placed her hand into Mo Yuans for the last time, from this moment, everything they did would be on their own.  Not one person there could tear their eyes from the beautiful visage she presented, even her disciple brothers were awestruck at her loveliness.

Taking the lead, Die Feng, followed by Mo Yuan and Bai Qian led their family forward to the Banquet area where the guests were already seated and waiting.  Die Feng then introduced the couple as they entered.  Rising their guests cheered their arrival amid loud applause and stunned stares at the beautiful wife of the War God came into view.

Then leading their family forward into the banquet area,where they would all share the first table facing them, however, in line with Qing Qiu tradition, they were all led to row of seats to be seated in accordance to respectful rank and once they were seated the Tea Ceremony began.
