It had been 3 months since Chang Songs funeral, and life was slowly returning to normal in Kunlun Mountain, though there had been much to do. Having moved Feng Jiu into her old room to keep a watchful eye on her with the help of her seniors, Bai Qian took care of Mo Yuan, assisting in all of his care personally, and under her careful administrations, he recovered quickly.  Though still weak, with good nutrition and exercise he would be back to his old self in no time.

Feng Jiu on the other hand had lost the will to live after the passing of Di Jun, instead drinking herself into a permanent stupor.  Initially Bai Qian had allowed her the time to mourn in her own way, but as the days passed, she increasingly became worried for her safety as her drinking hit astronomical proportions.  Eventually she gave the order that she was no longer allowed into the wine cellar.

Bai Zhi, her father and Zhe Yan had emerged once since their enforced seclusion, both men were heart broken over the news of Di Jun and Mi Gus deaths.  The heartbreak for them both, sent them both back to the meditation cave, unable to deal with the painful news, though her mother had suggested Bai Zhi return to Qing Qiu's Yanhua Cave which would also be as beneficial as Kunlun Mountain, he decided to stay close to Zhe Yan, who needed him there.  The news of Di Juns passing hit him hard, he had also been as much of a brother as Mo Yuan was.

Mo Yuan, though happy to finally have his Qian Qian back, struggled with the image of his loves naked form in the arms of his fully aroused brother.  Though he still spoke softly and his eyes still betrayed his deep love for her, he had yet to find it within himself to hold her.  He knew he was being childish and unfair, but he had never loved a woman the way he loved her, and with the death of his much loved Chang Song added to his already frayed emotions, he struggled alone with it.

That was until the arrival of several of the clans generals that had come to offer assistance in his healing, the stories they told of how his Qian Qian returned Qing Cang back into the bell, hurt him more than everything that had gone before.  Eventually he closed himself off from her altogether.  Until he could come to terms with everything that had happened, he would not be able to look at her without these feelings of disgust that continuously crowded his mind.

And nor did her seniors blame him.  They too struggled to see her as their little Seventeenth, when the memory of her near naked form taking the Ghost Lords body so publicly was still fresh in their minds. Though only Zhi Lan had seen everything in full detail, his overly vivid description he took great delight in sharing with his seniors had them all panicking, so much so, none of them could keep their hands from covering their groins in fear of being caught stiff.   No matter what she did, they could not see past it.

Eventually, having ascertained that Mo Yuan would be able to survive without her, she returned to Qing Qiu and immediately closed the den to everyone, without a backwards glance or farewell to anyone.  With no Mi Gu to answer the call anyway, there was no need to see anyone who turned up unannounced.  Not even the arrival of her third senior to check on her and Feng Jiu at Mo Yuans request, saw her open the entrance, instead leaving him to return with news she had gone into permanent seclusion.

Heartbroken, once again Bai Qian entered seclusion within the lands of Qing Qiu, leaving only to gather wine from Zhe Yans Peach Tree Woods for Feng Jiu, which she now limited to 3 bottles at a time, as opposed to the 15 she was drinking.  And with Mi Gu no longer there to help her with Feng Jiu and her mother refusing to even look at her, she could do nothing but regret her actions, that at the time she thought was a brilliant idea beyond anything she had ever dreamed up before.

She too closed down.
