Mo Yuan, Bai Qian, Ye Hua

Part 24

War.  Part 2.

Bai Zhen, whose army was yet to be unleashed also saw Xiao Wu go down, and he immediately surged forward, dragging his army with him as they joined the fray of the two warring factions.

Instantly, he unleashed a powerful surge of immense energy into the frenzied clash of swords as his dragon mount belched it's own fire into the fray hovering above her, killing hundreds to create a direct path to his sister, who though down, was a long way from out.

Curled into a tight ball above Chang Song, Bai Qian emitted wave after wave of terrifying Goddess energy through the barrier she had erected about the both of them. Hot tears rained upon her cheeks as her eyes frantically searched the violent horde of soldiers for help.

Together they had fought hard to keep both Ghost and Demon clans at bay, but as the arrows rained in by the hundreds and the swords of their men clamored to take the only High Goddess there, she could do nothing, but watch as her second senior fell beside her, his dying breath lost to the bloody gurgling of his open throat.

With an almighty scream that tore through the crashing sound of their men and the hell fire still raging about them, Bai Qian released one final explosion of her Goddess Energy from deep within her core, that detonated resoundingly and forcefully, killing hundreds more around and above her as Bai Zhen came into view, the sight which could be seen by everyone, as her powerful blast also drew the attention of Qing Cang himself.

"Si Yiiiiiin." he whispered softly to himself as his eyes grew wide at the vision of her loveliness and powerful energy still raging and throbbing as Bai Zhen arrived and magically removed her and Chang Song from the battle and straight to their medical tent.

With a wave of his hand, Qing Cang unleashed their third wave of soldiers and beasts.

Ye Hua who also saw Qian Qian go down, immediately sought to cloud jump to her side, when Di Jun threw a binding spell around him to hold him back.  "Have you forgotten who you are?" he roared at him.  You are the Crown Prince and the next Skylord and you are already wounded." 

 Without an heir, there would be no one to replace him should he die, Di Jun could not allow Ye Hua to fight in this battle, not when he was already wounded to the extent that he was.

Seeing him struggle to free himself, hurting himself more in the process,  Di Jun immediately knocked him out and had his aides take him to the medical tent to join Bai Qian, who he had already noticed being rescued by her brother.  He also noticed Qing Cangs interest in her.  

So did Mo Yuan, who had already left his side to fight his way through the maddening fray of roaring beasts who were unleashed to attack Di Jun.

It had taken Mo Yuan precious seconds to comprehend what was happening, and it wasn't until he laid eyes on Qing Cang, did the full impact of what was occurring hit him.  Now racing forward, he slashed and hacked his way through the beastly hounds of the Demon clan, their teeth and claws raised up to lay waste to his already savaged and torn body, while their handlers cracked their chains and smashed at him with their Yue.  

Throwing both sword and hand out, he launched a gigantic surge of powerful energy into the beasts and handlers, killing every single one of them, as he sought to clear a path directly to Qing Cang, who was by now also making his way forward having seen the War Gods unfettered rage slaughtering their beasts, also clearing a path, as he viciously threw out his hell fire with no thought at all as to who he hit with it, leaving a trail of screaming convulsing men dying in his wake.

Zhi Lan and Yan Zhi met each others sword thrusts, strike for strike as Zhi Lan sought to stop her.  "Yan Zhi please stop." he begged, he did not want to hurt her.  But she wouldn't listen as the blood lust continued to rage through her veins.
