Mo Yuan awoke from his meditation 5 days later. Checking on Di Jun, he was happy with the progress he had already made. Though still the same size he was 3 days ago, his cultivation had increased a little more which was now completely blocking out his Dragon Form. Placing a thick impenetrable privacy barrier around his Dragon form to prevent his form from being seen by any others if they came here, he left the cave, with Qian Qian on his mind.
And she too had only Mo Yuan on her mind, as she sat with her mother going through the guest list for their upcoming wedding. "Of course, all my seniors will attend." she happily informed her. Her wedding would not be complete without her Disciple brothers there. But her mother also insisted on the whole of Qing Qiu and The Celestial Palace.
"No! I will not allow the Celestial Tribe to attend, I do not want them anywhere near Kunlun Mountain Mother." She told her firmly. Even though Mo Yuan was also of the Celestial Tribe, there is no way he would want them at their wedding either. That Skylord would not be welcome, in fact, there would probably be a war if he turned up.
"And nor can we invite all of Qing Qiu Mother, there's thousands of them." she cried thinking of the huge expense it would cost them, having already emptied most of their vast gardens for Di Juns funeral. "There is nowhere large enough to hold such an enormous amount of people, and Mo Yuan would never allow it." she added, as she tried to envisage their guests crowding onto Kunlun Mountain, which is where they had agreed to hold the wedding.
Patting her daughter gently on the head, she lifted her chin towards her. "Qian Qian, these are just suggestions, we can go through them again, once we have all names and ranks on our list." Then taking her into her arms, she held her only daughter gently to her. "Go and rest Qian Qian, you have just given birth, and we can do this while your body heals." she told her softly.
Then noticing her daughters sad expression as she massaged her tender breasts, she looked down at her again. "Do you have regrets not keeping the baby?" she asked her.
Dumbfounded that her mother would even think that, she corrected her immediately. "What? No. Di Jun was never going to be ours, so I never allowed myself to feel any maternal instincts for him, besides the original baby belonged to Ye Hua Mother." Then realizing what she had just said, she quickly ducked her head. Her mother didn't know she had left for the mortal realm with him, nor of their brief affair.
Quickly wrapping her arms around her mothers waist she held on tight. Knowing how hurt she had been over her actions with Qing Cang, this would also hurt her. That she had slept with three men in such a short space of time, would rock her mothers foundations. She held such high morals and ethics, especially for her only daughter. Only Mo Yuan had known the baby was Ye Huas, unfortunately, now her mother did too.
"Oh Qian Qian." her mother sighed sadly. Then pushing her daughter back so she could look into her eyes, her mother shook her head. "You were always so reckless and thoughtless of others, and though this shouldn't surprise me, I am thoroughly disappointed in you."
"Come now Empress Bai. Qian Qian has been through enough already." Mo Yuan growled, as he walked into the chamber, before opening his arms as Qian Qian ran to him excitedly.
"Mo Yuan, you're back!" she cried happy to see him. Then without looking back at her mother, she quickly began dragging him out of the chamber.
But her mother wasn't having any of it. Instead she ordered her daughter to her own chamber to rest, before firmly taking Mo Yuans arm. She led him back into the chamber and slammed the door, leaving her daughter scared for her future husband on the other side of the door.
