Mo Yuan, Bai Qian, Ye Hua

Part 13

Day 1

Ye Huas life hung in the balance as the sting from Bai Qians tail bore deeper and deeper into his skull, and as each minute passed, the closer to death he inched.  Though barely lucid enough to understand what was going on around him, he could do nothing as the excruciating  pain savagely tore through his whole body, tearing at every cell and atom as he felt himself lose consciousness.  Struggling to stay aware, he focused on the hum of Zhe Yans energy as it coursed through him, but it wasn't enough,  the sting had taken much of his elite cultivation, and all the fight in him had gone.  He blacked out as another seizure took hold.

The second Bai Qian cut off her tail, Ye Hua instantly felt the pain ease as the sting flew out of his head and died, but the damage was done.  HIs organs were already beginning to show signs of shutting down, causing his body to seize uncontrollably, and his heartbeat became so irregular, Zhe Yan immediately sent Mi Gu to the Celestial Palace to inform them of the Crown Princes condition, with instructions to bring back the medicine king and the soul lamp.  His soul had already begun to shatter.

Bai Qian lay whimpering on a make shift bed against the wall, as Zhen Yan worked frantically to save Ye Hua.  Her body too was undergoing agonizing pain from the removal of her tail.  But, only taking enough pain relief to ease it, she refused all other assistance, insisting Zhe Yan continued working to save Ye Huas life, regardless of the fever and delirium overtaking her own body, not to mention the painful seizures she was also undergoing. Ignoring them, she prayed, to whom she had no idea, but it was all she could do to ease the tremendous guilt overtaking her.

Never in all his life had Zhe been so afraid.  Not only was Ye Hua dying, he was the Crown Prince of the Celestial Tribe and the next Skylord,  he was also a personal friend.  One he cared a great deal about.  For this to happen, following so closely after the embarrassment caused by Bai Qian at the East Palace, it would severely strain Qing Qius relationship with the Celestial Tribe, if not sever it completely, and Zhe Yan knew, if that happened, they would lose all of their allies, which in turn would ruin Qing Qiu, and the entire Fox Clan.  If they make it through this,  he would make sure she paid dearly, he thought to himself.

Only one thing could save him, and Bai Zhi had yet to return.  It had been 3 hours since Bai Qian had cut off her tail, and if he wasn't there within the next hour they would lose him.  And it was at that moment he fell through the door way with Mo Yuan immediately following behind him.  

Stumbling towards Zhi Yan, he opened his hand as the elixir came into view.  It was made from the divine fungal grass, and Bai Zhi had used a significant amount of his cultivation to make it at Kunlun Mountains elixir chamber, after having fought a catastrophic battle with the beasts that protected it, which saw the death of one of the beasts, a death that Bai Zhi would have to pay for, but right now, that was not even a thought, as he blacked out at Zhe Yans feet.

On his arrival he was escorted to the chamber by Die Feng after filling him in on what had happened.  Die Feng had immediately informed Mo Yuan, dragging him out of meditation.  Mo Yuan knew in an instant, that Qing Qiu and Bai Qian were in big trouble, and this time, even he would not be able to save her if Ye Hua died.  Racing to the elixir chamber, he was just in time to catch the Fox King as he stumbled out the door with his freshly made elixir, his body ravaged with fresh seeping wounds, covered in blood and near collapse.  Instantly Mo Yuan grabbed him and held him tightly as he cloud jumped them both to Qing Qiu.  

Barely making it, Zhe Yan took the elixir and immediately fed it to Ye Hua, before emptying the last of his own cultivation into him, an amount that also saw Zhe Yan weaken significantly, having already given a large portion of his cultivation to save Mo Yuan.
