Chapter 27

Jeremiah P.O.V

Today was the day i would meet Mrs Walker and i decided to bring olivia

"olive are you ready" i shouted

she came downstairs and said yep lets go, i explained everything to mrs da'silva and she's supporting me

"mama were going now" olivia shouted

"okay by babies"

we walked to olivias car and drove to mrs walkers house

she opened the door, she looked so happy "hey jeremiah and whose is this, she said looking at olivia"

before she could answer i said "my girlfriend" olivia looked at me and screwed me

"aww thats so nice, im mrs walker" she hugged olivia and invited us inside

we sat down and mr walker came downstairs, i only met him a few times but he seemed cool

"hello jeremiah and hello to your girlfriend" he said and he sat down next to mrs walker

there was an arkward silence before mrs walker spoke

"so jeremiah, i really hold you close to my heart and what im about to say took alot of thought but me and my husband would like to adopt you since i cannot have children, i always thought about it but i wanna adopt you"

i hated crying infornt of people but i couldnt help it, olivia grabbed my hand "are you sure, how do i know you wont get tired of me"

this time mr walker spoke "jeremiah we wouldnt tell you unless we were sure and to prove it, we have already set you up the room and we've got the adoption papers" he pulled out a few pieces of paper and handed it to me

i looked at it in disbelief then i found the courage to say "yes i want you to adopt me, you were the only person who cared for me after my parents died"

mr and mrs walker literally jumped up in excitement they handed me a pen and i signed Jeremiah Hernandez.

"ok im gonna send these off right now, i will get everything sorted by next week and you can move in with us.

"thanks so much mr and mrs walker"

"call us mum and dad"

i hugged them and said "bye mum and dad"

i left and we got in olivia's car, the whole ride was silent because i couldnt believe someone wanted to adopt me, i pulled out a picture of my actual mum and dad that i kept in my wallet and kissed it "i know your watching over me" i whispered

we were inside olivia's house and i told mrs da'silva the news she hugged ke and said "im so happy for you"

i was so happy that i got the news a day before my birthday.
