I used to see my future in your eyes.
Now all I see is our past and your disguise.
I had the chance to leave without you chasing me.
I should've known you'd change your mind eventually.
I was young and my emotions got the best of me.
You had me scared to believe that I was actually right about everything.
I wasted too many years now fighting for a love that already died.
I was naive to think that somehow we could still survive.
You'll never be able to speak without lies.
So how can you expect me to keep this alive?
You didn't try to love me when it mattered.
Now you think I'll never leave because I'm shattered.
You stared into my heart as it went insane.
How dare you act like you're not to blame!
When everything about you changed,
Somehow your need for lying, remained.
Reverse the situation in your head.
Can you picture your choices being mine instead?
Would you have tried so hard, for as long I did?
Even after everything that was said?
Your obsession for manipulation haunts my every move.
Scared to breathe without first asking you.
How can you love someone that you don't respect?
Your twisted downfalls force unwanted feelings of regret.
Now I'm left with a decision based on memories that make my heart bleed, because I'll never forget.
We lost ourselves a long time ago,
It's time to face the truth and let it go.
Your actions always proved the opposite of your mouth.
It's about time that it all comes out.
No more pretending.
Stop acting like you didn't know that we already had our ending.
