First Love Never Dies- A Samtin Story

Chapter 18

Hey guys! :)

So after weeks of not updating, here's chapter 18. 

I'm really sorry I didn't update in ages. I was too busy with uni. But I do hope y'all understand. 

I tried to finish this last week but meeeh, I didn't cos I couldn't (okay.. does it even make sense at all? lol)

I was too tired after the exams and felt the need to rest and watch heaps of movies cos that's what most boring people like me, do. :)

Sam was grinning like an idiot while humming the song 'Superman' by Five for Fighting while slouching on the back seat of his van. Sam couldn't help but anticipate and be excited about skating again and teaching Toni how. He has always wanted to teach her how to skate but because of the circumstances before, it never happened.

Toni, on the other hand, was sitting twitchy and agitatedly on her seat.  Even though she knew that Sam would teach her how to skate, she still couldn't help but feel jittery about it.

It didn't take long for the whole cast and crew to  arrive at the next taping location. There were security guards looking rather courageously with their neat uniform. They were standing rigidly before the doors of the mall waiting to usher the celebrities inside the humongous mall to the ice skating rink. 

Sam elatedly climbed off from his car and walked over to where Toni's van was. He crept behind Toni, who just got out from her van. He prodded her on the shoulder and Toni spun on her heel instantaneously in a jolt.

"Oh, Sam!"  Toni said in a slightly high-pitched voice when she found out who poked her on the shoulder.

"So, are you ready?" Sam asked, locking his eyes on Toni's.

She shook her head and her face distorted in a frown. 

"Don't worry, Toni. I promise it will be fine. Don't think about it too much. You're going to have fun, I swear," Sam told her reassuringly, trying to soothe her out of her anxiety.

Toni's face relaxed a bit and a thin smile formed on her lips. "Sabi mo yan Sam ha."

"Of cou-" He didn't finish what he was about to say because someone shove him lightly on his back. He twisted around and found who the culprit was. It was John.

"Bro, wag naman bilis bilis sa panliligaw. Relax lang," John whispered to his ear and gave him a knowing glance and an impish grin. He also waggled his eyebrows teasingly at him.

Sam jabbed his elbow on John's side and stuck his eyes out at him. 

"May secret na naman kayong dalawa noh?" Toni asked, intrigued and narrowed her eyes at them.

Sam and John exchanged glances. Pratty's lips started stretching across his face and his eyes had a puckish glint.  Sam looked daggers at him. John snapped his head to Toni and drawled, "Gusto mo bang malaman?"

Sam's eyes bulge out of its sockets and his heart started beating in a hasty pace. There was no way he'd let John spill the beans to Toni. And so, he immediately covered his mouth and dragged him away from her.
