CHAPTER 23
Sam got easily conscious and straightened his shirt back into its place. The audience along with Vice groaned in dissatisfaction.
Vice complained, "Awww. Bakit ang bilis!"
Sam bashfully sat back down and reasoned out, "I'm so shy."
"Tayo tayo lang naman dito. Wag ka ng mahiya," Vice winked at him as if it would effortlessly convince him to show his wonderful abdomen again.
But Sam didn't get easily persuaded. He shrugged off the audience's and Vice's desperate demands and wore the most reserved expression he could.
Vice let him off and said, "Osige na nga. Pero bago kita tanungin ulet tungkol sa past niyo ni Toni. Panoorin muna natin ang VTR galing sa best friend mong si John Prats!"

Sorry talaga, bro. Pero kailangan eh. Kailangan kong bumawi sa ginawa mo sa'kin (*pertaining to Sam revealing his proposal plans to Toni) Ha-ha-ha! *pauses
And may crush pa rin po si Sam kay Toni hanggang ngayon! Ha-ha-ha! *raised a peace sign using his fingers

Sam's eyes widened and his heart rate picked up while he was watching John's video. He started to feel twitchy and anxious. He was not expecting John to spill the beans. Well, he did not actually divulge the real thing but the thought is there.
Vice: "Mabait si John Prats! Medyo hindi nga lang mapapagkatiwalaan! Ha-ha-ha! Ano yun, Sam! Binigyan mo daw si Toni ng mamahaling necklace nung birthday niya? Totoo ba toh? And may gusto ka pa rin daw kay Toni? Sam! Sagutin mo! Sagutin mo!"
Sam's chest hoisted as he took a deep breath before answering Vice's prying questions. When he started opening his mouth to answer, no words were coming out. His mouth became dry and useless. It was too overwhelming and it was showing on his features. His cheeks turned into a reddish hue and all he could do was to nod and smile.
