CHAPTER 20

After the training, the day went by so fast for Sam and Toni. Nothing really thrilling and exciting happened between the two except that Sam was still asking her out for dinner after their GGV taping the next day. But Toni still stick with her decision not to go.

Once Sam had finished changing into dry clothes, he went to look for Toni. He  walked out of the males' changing room, into the hallway. He easily spotted the lady he was looking for. She was walking unsteadily, half awake and half asleep. Jing and Karen, walking next to Toni, sported  worried looks. Sam's brows furrowed at this.

Sam rushed next to her side and asked, his voice thick with concern, "Are you okay, Toni?"

Toni just nodded, her eyes closed. Jing sighed inaudibly and informed Sam, "Sa sobrang pagod siguro, medyo nahihilo at masakit daw ulo niya. Pero pina-inom na naman namin siya ng gamot."

His anxious facials relaxed a tiny bit upon hearing that she already drank her medicine. Still not quite satisfied, he queried, "Toni, are you sure you're okay? Do you want me to bring you to the hospital just to make sure?"

Toni shook her head and even though she wasn't feeling alright, she managed to utter a witty statement, "OA ka din minsan noh, Sam? Okay lang talaga ako. Praaamis! Kalma ka lang, okay? Parang ikaw yung may sakit eh.. sakit sa utak. Ha-ha-ha! Joke lenggg!"

This brought a smile to Sam's lips. "Youu!!", he said while jutting his finger at her and grinning hard. "Kahit may sakit, baliw ka pa rin. Ha-ha-ha!"

This earned him a slight blow at the back of his head from Toni. His face grimaced and groaned, "Awww! I didn't know that a sick person could be that violent!"

Toni's lips formed a wicked and mischievous smile and then she stuck her tongue out at him. This made his lips tweak up at the corner.

"Ikawww ha! You want war? I'll give you war!"

After threatening her, he scooped Toni from the ground and carried her on his arms. Toni jiggled and strived to force herself out of Sam's tight grip, but he was too strong. She couldn't escape. Her body was locked up in his brawly arms and his musky scent.  Sam was smirking, feeling triumphant while she was yelling incessantly, "Sam!!! Ibaba mo ko!! Hoyyy, Samueeeel! Ibaba mo na ko!!"

"Ayoko nga! You can't even walk properly. Just relax, okay? Just think of me as your human wheelchair," He countered, eventually making her stop whining.  

Toni realised what Sam's purpose was in  locking her on his arms. Instinctively, her lips stretched from ear to ear. "Okay.. Fine... Sam-wheel-chair!"

Sam beamed at this and kept Toni in place.

Sam said his goodbyes to the other cast and Direk Joel before heading to Toni's van.
