Chapter 21

-LYNN'S P.O.V-

She's really tired. We both are. But the fog was so beautiful. Maybe tomorrow we can take a jog around the gardens.
Nothing beats her beauty though.
I put the suitcases down and climbs into the bed, laying on her back. She groans.
"Sorrrryyy. I just wanted to know what it was like." Zee whines.
"Have you picked a place for a honeymoon?" Jamie asks.
"Not yet."
"Hawaii was really nice. You guys would like it." I can HEAR Jamie smile.
"I want out of the states. I want to drrriiinnnkk"
Rose comes into view of the camera. "You don't need to drink to be insane, babygirl." She kisses her cheek.
"Hey, bestieee." Jamie laughs.
"Hey, Jamie. How are you guys doing?"
"I'm tired as shit. And Ly has gone mute."
"No. I'm just listening."
"Due to not giving a fuck to remember, what time is it there?"
"Almost 2pm." Rose answers.
"8 hours back, babe." I kiss her cheek.
"I'm too tired for this shit." She groans.
"Sorry Zee bothered you, Jamie. Talk to you when you check in later."
"Thank you, Rose. You is my hero."
Jamie doesn't even care for proper words anymore. It's cute.
"No, it's not, Ly." She says as Rose hangs up.
"Yes it is."
"This feels good."
"What does?"
"You laying on me."
I slide my hands under her belly and hold her.
"I could sleep like this."
"I don't want to sleep with jeans on though, Koala."
"Can we lay like this after?"
"If that's what you want, Yeah."
I get off and we quickly disclothe. And she lays on her stomach and I climb back on her again. Sliding my hands back in her her belly.. God she is so warm.
I kiss her bare shoulder.
"What was that for?"
"Do I need a reason, Koala?"
"No. Never. I was just curious."
I kiss her shoulder again. "Reason being because I love my wife. Because she is smoking hot. Because she is really warm and cozy. And because I have all rights to kiss you any time I want to."
"You're cute."
"And you're adorable."
"And you're beautiful."
"And you're falling asleep."
The sound of her heart is loud as my ear lays to get back. It's slow... hypnotising...

"Koala." I whisper to her.

A wiggle comes from under me.
"Ly.."

"I have to go to the bathroom."

Her ass pushes me off as she lifts off the bed.

"I tried to ask nicely."
I groan. I wait for her to come back because I know I can't sleep without her. Keeping my eyes closed though...
The bed dips next to me.
"You're beautiful."
"You're saying that because I am naked on my back and completely exposed."

I climb on her, completely being blind. Not opening my eyes if I don't have to. Her heartbeat sounds into my ear.
"What time is it?"
"Clock on wall says 10."
"Can we sleep til tomorrow? I can't even think right now, baby."
"You don't even have to ask. I'm just as tired as you are."
I lightly squeeze her. "And you're warm. I don't want to get up."
"That's the only reason?"

She laughs lightly. "Whatever you say."

"Ly.." She whispers.
"Cooing is for me to do, not you."

A dream. A good dream.

She smacks me.
"She can't hear. She has her headphone in and is asleep."
"It wasn't for Alex's innocence, dumbass. I'm not a pussy."
I laugh and smile widely to her.
"I'm just not."
"Why? I had to."
"I don't want to pee on a fucking stick, Ly. It's weird."
"So you're calling me weird because of Alex?"
"Nooooo." She pouts.
"Come on."
Second longest minute of our lives. Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock.
"Want me to look first?"
She nods. My heart was beating against my chest, about to burst out. And then.. it just exploded.
I kiss her belly and she giggles. "Hey little Tim." I whisper.
I look up and she has the biggest smile. Beautiful smile.
"You're telling Alex."
"That's not fair. Why do I have to?"
"Because your her mom."
"But see where your wrong in that, Ly, is so are you."
"Family dinner?"
"You can't be serious."
"Come onnnn. I want mom and dad to know."
I kiss her belly again.
"We have to tell her separately."
"When?"
"Well.. seeing how she is about to walk through the door. Now."
I don't want to tell her yet. I'm scared of her reaction.
Jamie kisses my forehead and gets up. She picks Alex up in her arms and runs out of the room. Alex giggles loudly.
"Where are we going, Mommy?!"
"I want to tell you a special story, babygirl."
I follow behind them.
Totally winging it out of your ass right now, Koala.
We stop when we hit her room. Jamie flops on the bed with her in her arms and she giggles.
"Alright, babygirl. Have you ever heard of the angel and her hero?"
"No."
I crawl into the bed next to them and watch Jamie. Listen to her completely out of her ass story.
She kicks me. I ignore the pain.
"Once lived a girl who's world was all darkness."
Alex made an 'oo' sound.
"Now, Alex. This girl had no idea where she was going. She had no light to guide her path."
"What did she do, mommy?"
"Well, it took her a while, Alex. But one day there was suddenly a light. And she could see."
"What color was the light?"
"Why don't you pick?" Jamie smiles to her.
"Bluuueeee. Pick blueeee. Blue."
"Okay. One day there was a pretty blue light."
Alex giggles.
"This girl was confused. She was so use to the dark that when she saw the light, she was scared."
"Oh no. Don't be scared."
"The girl started to approach the light and come to find out, it wasn't a light at all."
Alex gasps. "What was it mommy? Tell me.. tell me."
"This light was an angel. A very beautiful angel. And this angel took the girls hand and started walking with her through the darkness."
"An angel?"
"Yeah. A very special angel. Well, this angel helped this girl fight her darkness. The girl could finally see again and wasn't walking alone anymore. These two became best of friends and love each other dearly. One day this angel asked the girl to marry her."
"What did she say!?!?"
Jamie and I laugh lightly at her.
"She said yes, of course."
"YAAAY"
"They spent all of their time together, nothing could have ever taken the angel away from her. And things did try. Demons in the girls darkness tried to steal her from the angel."
"Noooooo."
I smile at her reaction.
"But it didn't work, Alex. It never would. So when the day came and the two got married, all the girls darkness turned to that powerful bright pretty blue light. But not too long after their wedding.. they decided they wanted a family."
"Like a kitty?"
And she's your daughter, Jamie.
She kicks me again. I ignore.
"Although a kitty is special, Alex, this is more so."
"Like a baby?"
"Yes. A baby. And this baby spent hours on end at night crying and annoying her parents."
I kick her.
"But they loved their little girl. And their little girl started to grow. And became smart. Smarter than her moms combined."
"What was her name?"
"Alex."
"Really?!"
"Yes. But the Angel and the girl always dreamed of having another child. But they fear of how their daughter would react." She pauses... "how do you think she would react?"
"If I had a brother or sister I would be happy. Make her happy."
I grin.
"They told her that she was going to have a brother and she was happy. Now, Alex, can I tell you a secret about this story?"
"Yes. Tell me mommy."
"The angel and her hero will never tell you which one is which because to the girl the angel was her hero."
"And to the angel, the girl was her hero and angel." I cut in.
"Oh."
"The secret is, Alex. Your mother is my angel and my hero."
"And your mom is mine." I smile to her.
"So Alex is me."
"Yes." Jamie says
"And you want another kid?"
"Yes." I say.
Alex sits up and looks at both of us.
"I get to be a big sister?"
"Yeah, Panda."
She starts jumping up and down on the bed and clapping.
"When?" She plops down and looks at us.
"The baby has to grow first." Jamie rubs her tummy lightly.
"The baby is in there?"
Alex rests her head on Jamie's stomach.
"For a little while."
