The End (GxG) (Sequel to The Middle)

Chapter 2

-LYNN'S P.O.V-

     I miss her. Like massively. She was literally dragged out of bed at 5. I wasn't even awake to say bye.
     Rose decided that it was better if Jamie had Zee with her instead of Zee with me because she is my bridesmaid. I agreed without hesitation because she needs her sister... If she is any as nervous as I am, Jesus help us.
     My day actually consisted of helping dad cook. Which was fun because Sam and Rose helped.
"Do you want me to make like rolls or something?" Rose asks.
"You would do that?"
"Yeah. If I can have your dad cook for my wedding."
She looks over to dad. He shrugs. "Family is family."
    She smiles. It doesn't take long before we are in full use of the stove and oven. Between cooking lasagna and rolls. Or Bacon Mac Casserole and the muffins that Rose decided could be useful...
     The house smelled all kinds of delicious. But nothing like Jamie. God I miss her. Her cologne.. I just miss her.
~Jamie is really down. I can't really get her to cheer up. Even Harry Potter isn't helping. -Zee.
~I miss her too.. I've been keeping myself busy with cooking and stuff.. But I can't get my mind off of her.
~Is all the food made and stuff? -Zee.
~And extra. Enough for all our families.
~Good. Good. Are you nervous? -Zee.
~Deadly.
~Jamie wasn't nervous the day before but now she is. She keeps thinking maybe you won't show. -Zee.
~Oh, I will most definitely be there.
~You fucking better be. -Zee.
~Or I will murder you. -Zee.
~Painfully slow. -Zee.
~Make you watch yourself bleed out. -Zee.
~Show you your guts that you didn't have to show up for my sister. -Zee.
~And lastly, hang you with them. -Zee.
....oh... my... god..
"You okay, Lynn?"
"Uh. No. I just got a major death threat from Zee. Major. Jesus.... And I thought I was scared before."
    Rose smirks. Sam tries to hide a laugh. Dad just hugs me.
"I'm so proud of you, Kiddo."
"Thanks, Daddy."
     He pulls out of the hug as the oven goes off.
"You think 3 things of lasagna is enough? 3 of each?"
"Plenty, dad."
"And you think I made enough rolls?" Rose asks.
"Yeah, I think so."
"What about muffins?"
    I laugh. "Guys, it's perfect."
"Do you think I put in enough effort sitting here?"
"Of course, Sam. You were a good helper with getting all the stuff we needed."
     It was getting late. Like really late. We had to split where the food was going. Half of it in the upstairs fridge and the other half in our fridge.
    We decided.. probably best to not have extreme drinks at our after party because 18 and 19. But let beer in so our family can have some extra fun. It's going to be crazy, honestly.
     We say our nights to my dad. He sleeps on the couch down with us, which he moved to the foot of our bed. Sam and Rose hold me, though I know I won't sleep. And the Zee texts.
~Scared of me? -Zee.
~...
~Jamie is having issues sleeping. -Zee.
~Yeah, me too.
~She isn't suppose to text you, same goes both was but she wanted me to tell you that she loves you. -Zee.
~And that you're beautiful. -Zee.
     My heart sank. Even in the midst of such a hectic time.. And us being apart she still has kept her promises.
~Tell her I love her too... And miss her..
~Try to sleep. -Zee.
     Doubt it. Even with my best friends holding me.. I hand Sam my phone and she puts it on the charger.
    Lights go out and we all cuddle. Sam is asleep instantly. Rose takes a bit but soon falls asleep, a really light sleep.
    And me?... I just lay here. Just lay here.. stare at the ceiling and miss my loves body as my blanket...
    Yep.. that sounded normal. I miss her... I miss her so bad.
     Nothing feels right without her. Without her it's cold... really cold. But we're under a blanket with a fucking space heater ninja snuggled close to me.
    God..Jamie.. I miss you...
    Soon a small asleep takes me.        
    Probably for about 20 minutes before the alarm goes off that we need to get moving. But a goddess speaks.

"Hey, Lynndsie, my love."
"Hi, Mom."
"Are you ready for today?"
"Yes... I'm nervous though."
"Why nervous, Lynn?"
"I just want it to be perfect for her."
"And it will be as long as you are there waiting."
"I will be. I will." I sigh. "Will you?"
"I will be walking behind her. And her father at her side. She has angels and so do you."
Her hand places over my heart. "I'm always here."
"I know, mommy." I smile.
"So be brave. It will be perfect. Say your vows. Don't be nervous."
"I'll still be nervous."
"Okay. So a little nerves won't kill you. But relax a little. You don't need to be so worried."
She pulls me into a tight hug.
"It's time for you to do this. I'll see you on the aisle."

     I woke up before anyone else.. though barely asleep anyway. I turned off the alarm after slipping out of the bed. Took some effort but I managed.
    How the fuck can Zack sleep with Sam? She's like a billion degrees... yet still didn't keep me from being cold for Jamie.
     Everything.. that I just thought.. was so fucked up in logic it makes no sense. But I've only spent 1 night away from Jamie.. in.. a year and a half or so...
"Come in, you lazy assholes. We have a wedding to put on."
     Sam and Rose groan loudly bit dad perks up.
"Need to eat something first."
"Not hungry."
'You need to eat."
"Fine. I'll have an extra muffin Rose made."
"I second" Rose says.
"Third." Sam said.
"Settled then."
    We eat before getting everything in my dad's truck.
"Who's riding with me?"
"Noooottt me. I'm taking my baby."
"Not it" Rose says a millisecond before Sam.
    The look in Rose's eyes said it all. I don't mind a little fun.
"Okay, Sam. Let's go."
    They leave. Rose and I gather our stuff from the house and anything else we think we might need.
"Ca"
"Yes, Rose. Once." I cut her off.
She jumps in the air and starts clapping. I can only manage to shake my head. And we leave.
    I go to the only spot I will drift and know it will be safe because I have done it a thousand times before. The place I did with Jamie first. God I miss her.
"Ready?"
    Before she can answer I shift gears til I hit 80. Rounding corner, I drift. She's screaming like she is on a rollercoaster. It's funny.
    Slowing down, I drive off and back on to the main road.
"HOLY FUCK THAT IS SO COOL"
    I laugh at her.
"You're badass, Lynn."
"Nah."

     We help dad set everything up and store it until the ceremony is over. I feel myself grow more and more anxious. And Jamie is suppose to be all the way on the other side of the building.
     They are about ready to get me in my dress when I keep racing thoughts.
"What if she isn't there?"
"She will be." Zee walks in.
"Zee, are you sure?"
"Yes. Where's Ro?"
"Changing."
"Oh. I wanted to see her. I guess I'll have to wait. I'll see you in an hour. GET READY."
    I obey my lovely sister in law and her terrifying death threat. Sam helps me in the dress and as Zee leaves, Rose comes out.
"You just missed your girl."
    She frowns but then nods. I get my dress fitted properly, which dad leaves for. But comes back in as soon as it is on.
     Rose does my make up, though a tomboy, she does good makeup. And Sam does my hair. This is happening.
My dad hugs me tightly. Rose leaves for a few minutes I guess to be with Jamie. And a fee minutes later Zee comes back.
"You look beautiful, Lynn."
"Thanks, sisnlaw."
She laughs. She gets a text.
"Almost show time. Come on, Ninja."
    Sam is quick to follow her out. ...what seems like forever.. the melody for the bridesmaid to take stands plays.
     My dad takes my arm. "Let's get going, Lynn. Don't want to miss your cue."
    Fuck... fuck.. fuck... shit.. I breathe in deeply.
     The walks down the hallway to the doors is extremely long. But once we get there.. it's like I'm sent in overdrive. I'm shaking.. barely breathing.
"Calm down. Do you really want to hyperventilate and miss your own wedding?"
"NO."
"Exactly. Calm down."
     I take deep breaths. Calming myself down a little. And then the here comes the bride plays.
"Jesus.. dad."
"It's okay. Let's go."
    The doors are opened to me. A medium but reasonable path to walk stretches through a canopy of trees. The sun lowering across the small lake behind. I knew this place would be perfect.
     We start walking. I feel like I'm going to trip but in all honesty, I'm floating right now. Everything is perfect. Everything is beginning to be perfect. I just need her now. And forever.
     I hit the alter and and daddy helped me up.
"Thank you, Daddy."
"I'll be back in a minute with your girl."
     I smile. And he runs off.
"You look fabulous, Lyyynnnn."
"Shut up, Zack."
     He smirks. He blows a kiss. And everyone starts to laugh.
     The music cues again and my heart stops.
"Fuck.." I mumble.
     Zee nudges me.
     And she comes out...
     She's.. walking.... to me..
     She's beautiful.. stunning..
"She's.. an angel..."
     Her hand held out on one side and held onto my dad on the other. And there was a haloed glow from behind her. For a brief moment, I saw a goddess.
    I have a silly smile plastered to my face, I know. But she's almost here. Almost.. And my heart is racing.
Oh... I'm ready.
