Chapter 91

-JAMIE'S P.O.V-

    I sigh. Maybe I shouldn't. Maybe I'm okay. But I'm in bed with my sleeping wife at 3 in the morning... ..Maybe I shouldn't worry...
    I know I had a seizure. I know I did. And I know the kids were in the car when I did. But if Alex saw...
   Would she be scared of me? Would she hate me? Would she think it's her fault?
    I know, I got a little mad when she didn't respect my wishes. It is rude to burp in public. And people stared at her for it.
   I don't like attention drawn to us because of something that's inappropriate for public decency. And I'm to blame too, because I would do the same thing but I have to set an example. She's so much like me... It's scary.
    What if when we go for Tim.. he.. is.. like.. me?... I don't want Alex to see me have a seizure. I wouldn't want Tim to have that burden either.
    I carefully climb off of Lynn. It's 4 now.. I can start work.. be done around 2.. have a nap.. be fine.
    Lynn stays asleep, good, I guess. She must have had a bad time last night. I'm glad I have her.. And I love her so much for all she does.
    I start my work, making sure the light doesn't bother Lynn and it doesn't. And it doesn't take long before a good chunk is done. Still have a long ass way to go, though.
    I look over my computer, Lynn still sleeps. She's so beautiful... And I still her every day.
   The time ticked by fast. Really fast. I had no idea 3 hours had pass.
   
~    'Let Ro work, she's being annoying.'
      Morning. Sure.. how are you?
      'Should be asking you that. I'm alright, still sick.'
      I'm fine.
      'How's Andrew?'
      He's good.
   
    A second later my phone dings and it's Rose.
~Need a partner? -Rose.
~About halfway done with mine. But yours I haven't gotten to.
~Gotcha. -Rose.
     I get back to work. And the house is quiet. It's nice.
     I think maybe about an hour after Rose got on is when Lynn started to wake. She walks over to me and kisses my cheek. I smile lightly to her.
"Are you alright, J?"
"I couldn't sleep."
    I look away from my computer. "I went in at 4.. so.. I should be getting done between noon and 1."
"Why didn't you wake me?"
"You were sleeping. I didn't want to wake you for no reason."
"You remember, don't you?"
"Me seizing at a public restaraunt, you having to get the kids and running before? Oh yeah, I do."
"Jamie.." She gets on her knees and lays her head in my lap. "You're over working yourself."
"I'm alright."
    She kisses my thigh lightly and sighs. "I love you, Koala."
"I love you too, Ly."
     After a moment of just this, Alex starts to cry... followed by Andrew. She gets up and kisses my forehead.
"What would you like for breakfast?"
"It doesn't matter. Anything is good with me."
    She nods and heads out. I begin work again.
    Rose bounces her codes off of me and I do same with her. I'm finished before she is, so I mainly sit and correct hers if she makes an error, which she rarely does.
    Lynn brings up breakfast.. which consist of coffee and bacon. My soulmate knows my desires.
"The kids are down for now."
     I nibble on my bacon and continue my work. I look down at my phone, Rose texted.
~Picking up bigboy in an hour. -Rose.
~Are you sure? Zee could get him sick.
~She hasn't had a fever since yesterday. -Rose.
~Alright, we will have him ready.
    She goes offline and I do too as our work is done. I climb into bed with Lynn and sigh.
"Andrew's going home today. In an hour, actually."
"I'll get him ready to go. You rest."
"You know I won't sleep without you."
    She kisses my cheek before she gets up and runs out of the room. I think things will be okay. Or at least better.
    It takes a good 30 before anyone really goes anywhere. I've said my byes to Andrew and hugged my best friend before she walked like 5 houses down the street. Alex still hasn't woken and it's pass noon.
   I go upstairs and go in her room. She's still out like a light, but at least I can tell she's breathing. This child is so beautiful like Lynn. So amazingly beautiful.
   After leaving her room, I flop on our bed and sigh. It doesn't take her long before Lynn comes in and lays with me. I kiss her cheek and climb on top of her.
"Are you tired?"
"Very."
"I would imagine."
"Mm. It's okay though."
"Jamie." She coos.
"Nn."
"Jamie.."
"I love you, Ly." I give in almost immediately.
"I love you too, Koala." I hear her whisper.
