Chapter 48

-JAMIE'S P.O.V-

"Remind me why I have to do this?"
"Because your sister is making us."
"Right."

~      Fucking twat.
        'FUCKING DICK'

      I hold my head quickly. Lynn laughs at me. I groan.
"It's not funny."
"Come on, Koala. We have guests."
"But I'd much rather continue our rabbit adventure. We haven't even gotten started."
"Our room. Bathroom. Living room."
"See, no where near started."
     She leans down and kisses my cheek. "Come on, love. Tom is here."
"TOM."
    As she steps aside, I start to run out of the room.
"Jamie come back!" She yells and chases me.
    Her arms wrap around me before I hit the stairs.
"Baaaaabe."
"I'm not having your dress drop in front of everyone."
    She zips my dress.
"Oh."
    She laughs at me.
"Fuck off. I thought you already did that."
"You didn't give me the chance."
"Mhm."
    I turn in her embrace. "Carry me."
"You just ran...and can't walk down stairs all of a sudden?"
"Mhm."
"Jump."
    I jump and she catches me. Her hands ... Her thoughts.
"And here it was me wanting you."
"I always want you."
   She starts to walk down the stairs. Luckily Zee hasn't came yet, so she hasn't stolen Tom.
    I get down and am immediately brought in hugs by everyone.
"Jamie! So glad you're feeling better." Tom says.
"Hey Jays, Lynn." Rox drags Lynn into the hug.
    After a long moment they pull back.
"You guys know we live literally a few house down from you?" Tiff asks.
"How could they know, we never told them." Rox says
"Well, hello neighbors." Tiff smiles and plops on the couch.
    Rox sits on her lap.
"That's awesome." Lynn says.
    Tom and Jeremy stand, holding hands.
"We live at the edge of the cove down the road." Jeremy says.
"This is crazy." Lynn says.
     I laugh lightly and nod. Lynn's hand finds mine and our fingers intertwine.  She squeezes lightly.
"BOOOOO." I hear ...her... yell.
    I turn to the door.
"Hey, boo." She runs up to me and hugs me.
"It's a nice place. And you threw Mike in the pool?"
     I shrug. "He called me a dick."
     Everyone laughs.
"Tom, Jeremy, Rox, and Tiff. This would be the infamous Abby."
     Hey all say hey to her and she returns. She points to Tom. "My replacement."
"Nah, babygirl. It looks like no one can replace you."
"Right." I pull her back with one arm and kiss her cheek.
    Lynn's hand slightly squeezes mine. I let go of Abby.
"JJ!"
"Fuck."

~    Really?

"Yes." She walks over and hugs Lynn and I.
"OOOOOO. The twin has arrived." Tom yells and claps his hands in excitement.
"The twin would be Zee." I introduce.
"Zee, obviously that's Tom."

~    'Obviously.'

"And Jeremy, Tiff and Rox." I pause. "Also, where the fuck is my best friend."
"Fiancee."
"Best friend."
"Fiancee."
"ANSWER THE QUESTION."
"Bad timing." Rose walks over. "Hey, Jamie."
    I hug her.
"Anyone else sad I got tossed to the side?" Abby says.
"I did too." Lynn says.
    I turn to look at her and raise my eyebrow.
"HEY, LYNN." Everyone in the room yells.
"Hey, Abs." Zee hugs Abby.
"Babe, where's Sam and Za"
"LAAAADDDIIIEESS."
..."ck."
     Everyone turns.
"Hey Ninja, hey Zack."
      Sam bows before hugging me. We laugh. I introduce everyone.
"Now our parents." I rest my head against Lynn's chest.
"He's fabulous." Tom says.
"We know." We all say.
"When's our double date, Jays?" Rox asks.
"JAYS? JAYS? JAYS?" Abby yells in question.
     I shrug. "Not sure, Roxxie. We'll have to set something up sometime."
"Babe.. Dad. Mom." Lynn whispers in my ear.
    I walk over. Lynn follows me.

~   'You alright?'
      Headache.
      'Obviously.  Anything else?'

     I sigh. We say our hellos to our parents and soon introduce them.
"Love, help me with something real quick."
     Lynn drags me into the kitchen.
"I know they just got here but if I have to get them to leave, I will and they will understand."
"I don't want to make them leave."
"J..."
     I look down. "It's not bad. It's just a headache."
"Which is making you have seizure activity."
"What?"
      She lifts my hands and I watch them shake before me. "Right."
"Jump."
    I jump and she catches me with ease. "If we don't send everyone home, at least let me hold you the rest of the time they're here."
"Alright."
     I nuzzle close to her and she walks out back into the living room.
