Silent Tears

They had fun.  Mom is really the best cook.  Yun nga din ata ang namana niya.  She loves to cook.  Yun din kasi na natutunan niya sa limang taong paninirahan sa Paris.  Sobrang busog nila at napagpasyahang uminom ng wine.  Buti na lang her dad allowed them to taste one of his stock.  They ended up drinkimg in the garden near the pool. 
"Mukhang bitin ang drinking session natin" parinig ni Freya.  Ang model friend niya.
"Let's go to the bar girls!"  Pag aya ni Justine.  Her parents already went upstairs.  Her mom probably lost energy preparing for the party.
"Okay.  Give me few minutes.  Freshen up lang ako."  I still have my working clothes on.
"Don't get overdressed cassy."  Biro pa ni Freya sa akin.

I chose to wear white chiffon top paired with black skinny jeans and off-white stilletoes.  I grabbed my black purse and went outside my room.

Tapos na sila makapag retouch sa powder room ng bahay namin.  They are already waiting for me.  Full of excitement plastered on their faces.  I know that they have been so stressed these past few days for the preparation for the festival.  But looking st them now.  Everyone is so eager to enjoy for the night.
"Lets go?" I said while stepping on the last stair.

They chose the new high end club.  Club Angel.  Medyo marami na ang mga tao sa loob.  As expected since its almost 10pm already. "Ang ganda dito.  Dami na mga hot guys! Love it!" Pumalapakpak pa ang bruhang bakla.
Tawa lang kami na tawa. Nakaupo na kami sa sofa corner.  We chose this since medyo malapit siya sa bar counter.  Balak ata magpakalasing ng mga ito.  I studied the place.  Well, I can say it's high end class of a bar.  Mostly ay mga yuppies at college students ang andito ngayon.  Baka ito na rin yung mga usual customers nila. 
What caught my attention is a guy in the bar counter talking to a brunette. She is slim and sexy.  Looks like a model to me.  But the guy? He can't be him.  I suddenly felt a lump in my throat.  Kinabahan ako bigla.  Siya nga yun.  The guy is no other than Daniel.  He is wearing a dark blue long sleeves rolled up to his elbows.  And he is with a woman.  They looks like having an intimate talk.  The woman flirtatiously touch his arms.  In a little while, she is rubbing her chest to his arms while whispering something to him.  His smiles showed how it affects him. 

The picture of the two of them flirting in the bar counter pierced through my heart.  He is so damn great for doing this to me.  He gulped his shot of drink in one swift movement.  The woman is already his neck and occassionaly bit his ear.  I don't how many shots he had already. Napatinga naman ang binata sa ginawa ng babae.  Halos di na ako makatagal sa tagpo nilang yun.  Am I this masochist?  I can't remove my eyes on them.  The woman whispered to him again.  Kitang kita niya kung paano sumagot si Daniel.  Their lips met before her very eyes.  Tears drops from her and slid on her face.  It flows like the pain can be taken away.  But it didn't.  They two left the bar after Daniel put some cash on the counter.  They walked out of the bar with entwined hands.  "Oh my God!"  She heard her friend exclaimed.  Di na niya alam kung sino kasi most of them maybe are watching the dance floor or busy with their phones.  She doesn't know.  May humagod sa kanyang balikat at likod.  That made her cover her face with bare hands.  Nanginginig ang mga kamay niya.  The last time she went near him touched her heart.  That was during the wedding reception of Raphael and Cassandra.  Desire is so strong between them that time.  She can feel it.  Damn him for making her feel this way!  Umasa siya na kahit papaano, things will be better for them.  But he always end up hurting her just like now.  Ayaw niyang makakuha ng attention from her friends.  She doesn't want to be KJ since they're having fun.  Nilingon niya ang humagod sa kanya.  Si Freya pala.  "Restroom lang ako.  Sa atin na lang yun Frey".
Tumango lang ito sa kanya.  "Are you okay Cass?" Pabulong na tanong niya.
"Yeah.  I'll be fine." Sabay tayo.  Yan ang gusto ko sa kanya.  Hindi siya makulit na kaibigan.  She would  just wait for her friend to open up for anything. 
"Restroom lang kami." Paalam niya sa grupo.  Freya accompanied me. 

I looked at myself in the mirror.  I looked like a mess.  Buti nalng waterproof ang mascara ko.  Behind me is Freya with a questioning look.  "I saw him." Halos paos na ang boses ma lumabas sa bibig ko.  Siguro dahil pigil ang pag-iyak ko kanina.  Alam kong nakita din niya ako nakita ko.  Sympathy is shown in her eyes.  "You'll be fine.  I don't know what's going on with him Cass.  But I am hoping that you two will end up together." She smiled at me while fixing my hair.
"I don't if there is still an us.  At the wedding, he told me I am his.  But as I can see it,  he is still wandering.  And it hurt me big time now than it did before.  Paulit ulit na lang Frey.  Palagi na lang niya ako pinapaasa sa wala eh."  Malungkot kong sabi sa kanya.
"C'mon. you'll be fine Cass.  Let's just enjoy the night okay?  Wag kang pahalata sa kanila.  Magtataka ang mga yun panigurado."  Referring to her friends.
Yeah.  I will try my best to fight this.  Dapat sanay na ako dito eh.  Kaso eto ako, umiiyak pa rin ng palihim.

I tried my best to enjoy with my friends here.  Pilit kong iwinaksi ang isipin si Daniel na nasa piling ng iba ngayon.  Andito na ako sa gitna ng dance floor kasabayan na sumasayaw. Tumalon talon pa si Justine.  "Woooh!!!" Hiyawan nila sabay sa tugtugan.  Napaindak na rin ako katulad nila.  Sana mawala na siya sa sistema ko kahit ngayon lang.
Nagulat nalang ako ng may bumulagta sa gilid ko na lalaki.
"Tangina mo! Stay away from her kung ayaw mong mapilayan kita." Sabay sipa sa nakahiga ng lalaki.  What's going on? Nanlaki ang mga mata ko ng bigla ay may humapit sa likod ko padausdos sa bewang ko.  WTH! Nahigit ko ang aking hininga ng makilala ko kung sino ang mapangahas na ito.
"Da-Daniel..."

"Get your things.  We're going."  Malamig niya turan sa akin.
"What are you-" Di na nya ako pinatapos.  Nagpaalam na siya sa mga kaibigan ko.  "We'll go ahead.  Excuse us."  Nahila na niya ako at iniwan namin ang nakanganga kong mga kaibigan sa dance floor.
