Zoldyck and Hano ties: Consist of the getting along of both families. For generations, they have coexisted beside one another peacefully and have shown one another a major amount of support. The origin of their alliance remains unknown. They have come to an agreement that if the Hano allows the Zoldyck to remain at the top of the IARS then the Zoldyck will keep the Hano at second by supporting them financially and economically against the Akagi.

Hano and Akagi dispute: Consists of the constant rivalry between the families mainly revolving around business. Assassination clans and individuals who practice the sport are all ranked on the IARS (International Assassination Ranking System). The Major families are shown to annually dominate the IARS. For decades the Zoldyck have held their place as number one which leaves the other two families as two and three. The Hano being close with the Zoldyck leave the Akagi at a great disadvantage and angers them to a great extent. For the past few years, they have remained at bay and have not posed any threat to the Hano.

Illumi and Mia: The two have basically been raised together since they were babies. The relationship that they have developed as kids benefit the alliance between the Hano and Zoldyck greatly. They normally see each other on a weekly basis as the Hano often visit the Zoldyck residence frequently. Illumi often helped train Mia as he began his assassination training a lot earlier than Mia did. Over the years as they grew older Illumi developed a sense of protectiveness for his childhood friend.

Introduction to New Characters :

Marla Hano: The wife of Riku Hano and the queen of the Hano family. She often was considered to be angelic and gentle as she exploited the power of the Angels. 

Caine Akagi: The father of Takeo Akagi. A very ambitious man that gets the job done.
