Riku Hano was not at fault.

That was the first thing that Illumi learned after departing from Mia's side. He sought vengeance but most importantly he needed answers. That is the reason why he went directly to the Hano estate in the search for the widower. The man who raised Mia.

When he first arrived at the mansion he noticed that not only the air had changed but everything was different. The once sparkling and lively Mediterranean mansion now seemed to be dead. The extensive flower garden that was located at the North Gate entrance and led a path straight to the entrance of the residence was no longer bright and blooming. The flowers had all died away and became all grey and brown. There once used to be large numbers of butlers that decorated every part of the house including the exterior of the home but there was none today.

Illumi took his time as he marched through the dead garden until the reached the entrance of the house. The inside of the manor was just as morose and deserted as it was outside. The floors beneath Illumi's feet were layered with dust. A thought passed his mind. What had happened?

As he ventured further into the house, Illumi regarded an expensive looking living room assemblage that was located near the Northern entrance, just like the one that Mia brought him to when he visited a few days ago, lay all torn up and ruined.

"Excuse me, sir?" a modest voice could be heard from the other side of the room.

Illumi turned around and faced a young boy who stood near the corner of the room, in front of a grand hallway, with a baby girl in his arms. The boy stood out from the sullen setting that surrounded him. Illumi recognized him to be Mia's younger brother who he rarely ever saw.

The boy did not resemble his three other siblings as his eyes shone in a soft golden color whereas the others had wild green eyes. A lot would say that he resembled his mother the most as she had golden eyes as well. His hair, on the other hand, did not come from either his mother or father as it was a brilliant pink color that rolled down in waves and ceased just above his shoulders. A lot were confused as to where his wild hair color originated from as his mother had long blonde hair and his father had short wavy brown hair.

The boy held himself with an aura of confidence whilst at the same time looking calm and relaxed. He was the utter definition of someone being comfortable in their own skin. Often people would mistake him for appearing cocky and overconfident but in reality, he just didn't care about a lot of things that were transpiring around him.

"William?" Illumi examined as he neared the boy.

"Good afternoon, Illumi" the teenager bowed with the baby still in his arms.

"What is the meaning of all this?" Illumi asked as he eyed the abandoned and gutted household. The boy looked around the house as well and shrugged before turning around and wandering back down the hallway that he had originally come from. He did not answer Illumi's question.

"Papa's in his study" the boy called out impassively, "You better discuss things with him"

The door to the study flung open with a tremendous force, startling the older man who sat at his desk. Illumi strode into the room casually, his eyes immediately landing on Mr. Hano.

"Illumi, what a surprise" the older man chuckled nervously, "To what do I owe the pleasure?"

"Stop playing games, you know why I came here," Illumi said monotonously, as his eyes scanned the room.
