"So what's the meaning for all of this?" Illumi asked, gesturing around the room, "The house, the butlers. What happened?"

"Let's just say that Takeo wasn't too happy when Mia ran away from him. As for the butlers, I sent them all away in order to search for Mia. Takeo is not aware of this and I'd prefer to keep it that way." Riku said.

Riku had thought about killing Takeo while he was in his grasp but quickly dismissed the idea as the relationship between the Akagi and Hano families was already so vulnerable and weak. The last thing he needed was a war being waged between them.

Illumi remained seated as he listened to Mr. Hano explain everything to him. He could tell that it brought comfort to Mia's father to be able to finally tell someone about his difficulties. Deep down Illumi felt bad for this man but the remarkable fact that this man was so foolish astonished Illumi. Nothing in life was that simple. The feud had lasted for generations for a reason and a small tweak in their family trees would not do anything to change it. Of course, tragedy and disaster would be the outcome of this attempt to abolish the vendetta between the Hano and Akagi. It was truly horrible.

"When you're father gave up on trying to stop the marriage between Mia and Takeo he cut all contact between our families. You said that he did not allow you to come visit- well this was the reason why. I guess, he wanted to prove a point or he just didn't see any benefit for our family's alliance since the Akagi and Hano family would soon merge and become one." Riku thought out loud to himself.

"This idea... that my father had. He wanted to arrange a marriage between Mia and I," Illumi said carefully, "Did you know about it?"

Riku observed Illumi for a second before sighing, "When you two were younger we would often get together. When you guys were around two years old we noticed how inseparable you had become from each other. Silva and I were on the phone one night and we began to discuss the future of our alliance and he suggested that there be an arranged marriage between you and Mia, when you guys grew older, of course. It was never anything official and we never spoke about it that much. I guess you could say it was kind of like an unspoken contract." Riku said in perturbation, "I just don't know what to do right now"

"I would like to marry your daughter, Mr. Hano" Illumi said with confidence, "I would like to have your blessing."

Riku's face was momentarily filled with astonishment but then slowly calmed down into a knowing smile, "If only it was that easy, Illumi."

Illumi sat up from his chair, "I'll kill Takeo. I'll kill Mamoru. I'll do anything." Illumi proposed eagerly.

"No, don't kill my son. I'd like to have a proper word with him." Riku quickly added.

"I'll kill Takeo, then" Illumi settled it.

Riku's smile only grew from then on. His eyes bloomed with hope. All of the stress and anxiety that had built up within him was slowly slipping away.

"Then you have my blessing."

It took Illumi approximately half a day to travel all the way from Mamoru's house on Sibitzu Island to the Hano estate. Illumi used a private airship, once again, and demanded to arrive within a very minimal amount of time. When he left he had been given a number. Two days was what he had. At this point, he had less than a day and a half to find Takeo and rip out his heart.

As Illumi stepped foot out of the house, his phone began to ring in his pocket. He assumed that it was his father as he spoke to him less than a day ago to discuss the situation. His father, who did not permit him to interact with the Hano family was very angry with him for approaching Mia. When he explained the situation to his father he was able to get Milluki to do a little task for him.

He picked up the phone.

"Father?" Illumi asked and he walked past all the dead flowers in the front garden.

"No no, it's just me, big brother" Milluki's irritating voice could be heard from the other line.

"Oh, did you get it?" Illumi asked calmly.

"Yup, I sent it to your phone" Milluki confirmed. As if just on cue, Illumi's phone vibrated with the notification that he received an email from his younger brother.

"I'll send the payment to your account," Illumi said before pausing, "Is father home?"

"Yeah, he's a little busy though" Milluki responded with an impatient sigh.

"Transfer this call to him," Illumi demanded, "It's important"

There was a pause before a beeping sound went off. Seconds later another voice could be heard, "Hello?" a much more masculine and deep voice inquired.

"Papa, it's me," Illumi said, "I have some news-"

"Illumi, if it's anything more about the Hano or the Akagi then I don't want to hear about it." Silva cut in sharply.

"Mr. Hano gave me his blessing" Illumi explained. At this point, he was nearing the exit of the Hano property where a large metal gate stood ten feet above the ground. As Illumi's words left his mouth, Silva's protests immediately went silent. It remained this way for a good minute as Illumi's father reflected the given situation.

"You spoke with Riku Hano?" Silva questioned his son.

"Yes, and he has requested a renewal to the agreement you offered him," Illumi explained, "I have to get rid of Takeo first but that won't be a problem, I already took his eyes."

When Illumi found Mia nearly unconscious against a tree, a few days ago, he lost it. He wanted to utterly destroy Takeo. He was filled with the need for vengeance but that was something he was not able to achieve at that very moment. Yet he was able to take away Takeo's vision.

"Alright, I'll call Riku," Silva said and immediately hung up.
