Illumi

The door to the guest bedroom had not even fully closed before Ava had that small uniform unzipped and her heels kicked off. She threw herself at Illumi, arms weaving through his silky hair. His palms pressed tightly at her sides, pulling her close against his body as her lips attached to his with a lustrous desire. Illumi was ready for her, tossing her onto the bed as she wriggled out of her bra leaving her in nothing but her sheer pink panties that accorded her nails.

"Hurry up and fuck me!" she cried, fisting a handful of the sheets in her small hands.

Illumi grinned. He took his time shedding his dark suit coat, placing it slowly across the back of the chair. Celeste groaned in frustration, watching him undo his white dress shirt. Her eyes wandered down to his well-built body, with no shame, as he unbuttoned his pants.

Finally, when it came to the point that she felt she were about to explode with agitation, Illumi grasped her ankles and pulled her to the edge of the bed where he stood. She moaned and reached for him, pulling his lips to hers. She opened her mouth, drawing his tongue to enter her mouth as she encircled her bare legs around his waist, striving to bring him closer to her.

Illumi let himself be drawn in by the tide of her need. Everything he did drew her closer and closer to the edge. He ran his finger down her chest, between her large breasts. He traced the line of her abdomen and curved his finger around her lacy pink panties, tearing them off her curvy body.

She began to tremble as he touched her core. She parted her legs and, when he plunged himself into her, Celeste's eyes circled to the back of her head in pleasure

"Yes, yes, yes, yes, oh god," she cried, digging her nails into his shoulders tightly as he rocked into her, "Oh god YES!"

She was shouting now, and Illumi lost himself, pounding into her. He clutched her hips and drew her nearer and nearer with each motion of his hips.

Her cries sounded around the room as she fell off the edge, once and then twice. He dug his fingers into her skin and shut his eyes, expelling all thoughts until he too found his release.

Moments passed. Illumi pulled himself out of her and discarded the used condom. A few moments later, they lay beside one another panting on the bed panting. The room's low lighting reflecting off the sheer sweat on their bodies.

"Oh my goodness," Celeste stared up at the dimly lit ceiling. "That was..." she was at a loss for words.

Illumi sighed and sat up in the bed, looking out of the window, "I'm glad you enjoyed it," he murmured, absently.

She flipped over to the side, pulling the thin sheets around her body. "Aren't you engaged or something?" she let her eyes sweep down Illumi's long black hair, "I'm not complaining or anything, but you seemed kind of... kind of off."

Illumi blinked absently, "It's been five years since she left."

Celeste raised an eyebrow, "Your ex?"

He smiled, "My childhood friend, I loved her a lot and we were supposed to spend the rest of our lives together. Unfortunately, she wasn't well and and..." Why was he even thinking about all this anyway?

"Wait." Celeste sat up and looked at him, she couldn't help but notice his hesitation. "What happened?"

Illumi turned to look at her, "Surely you heard the rumours as to why the Hano family fell apart," he said, his eyes distant and emotionless. "Their eldest daughter killed herself, and Mr. Hano became unstable after losing both his wife and daughter, only years apart. They-they just lost too much. My father tried doing something to help them, but it was hopeless."

Celeste gaped at him, "Oh my God. I-I don't really know what to say."

"There's nothing to be said. It's in the past, I've gotten over it and now it's time to move forward." A wave of cold passed over Illumi, as though arctic winds were blowing across his face. His jaw tightened.

Celeste stared at him, "It must have been awful, though, I don't know how anyone can get over something like that."

"Emotions are dangerous, people who get to attached to others enable themselves to get hurt. Growing up with the type of future our families had already set up for us did not grant a place for love. Real love. That is our nature. I could only climb if I climbed alone.

I understood that if I let myself fall in love... I would be changing my destiny. It was a mistake for someone like me to fall in love, and I've now paid the price for it. It was not a part of the plan but it's accompanied me here to this point in my life and all I can do now is move on," Illumi explained, gesturing towards the large ceiling to floor window.

The view from the mountain that his family lived on was spectacular, in the distance the sun was setting on the horizon. Red-orange lights beamed into the room for a few moments. The two sat back for a moment, wordlessly letting everything sink in.

Love was like the sunset, beautiful while it lasts but never there for too long and once it was gone it left everything around it dark and cold.

When the sun finally set, Celeste began to gather her uniform from the floor. She got dressed in silence as Illumi stay sitting on the bed still staring out the window. She planned to leave without bothering him, but as her hand reached for the doorknob her attention was ripped away by Illumi's hard tone.

"Celeste."

Her attention was demanded and she froze in her steps, looking over to the assassin. Wide-eyed for a moment before relaxing, "Yes, Illumi?"

"If you tell anyone of what happened here, I won't hesistate to kill your husband and your son."

Celeste's blood ran cold, as her finger twitched on the doorknob. She didn't recall ever mentioning anything about her family to him. "I won't speak a word, I promise," her soft voice shook with fear. She quickly escaped from the room, buttoning up the rest of her uniform.

Illumi kept staring out the window, even after Celeste left.

It was finally time to move on.
