Shin POV
A month later and Kami was preparing to leave. The night he was supposed to head out Curse called a last minute meeting. When Shin gets down to the third level basement Kami is already talking to Curse. "Fay? What kind of name is that?" He hears Kami complain.
"My father used a random name generator he made to come up with the fake names for the passports. When you return the passport will be incinerated." Curse explains to him.
"What's wrong with my real last name? Fay sounds so dumb." He continues to complain.
"When you became a Curse Carrier and threw out your old name that included your middle and last name. You no longer have a last name to go by." Curse scolds him.
"I know. My old last name was Satin like the cloth. I kind of liked it because some people would misread it as Satan. The look of shock on their faces was funny." Kami giggled.
"Satin is a fairly rare last name. We can't have your real family finding out where you are." Curse tells him seriously.
Kami sighs, "Fine. Kami T. Fay it is." He sounds disheartened. "What's the T stand for anyways?"
Now that he's close enough Shin joins the conversation, "It probably stands for Tristan or something like that."
Kami turns to look at him. "Kami Tristan Fay." He makes a face, "That's worse."
Curse smiles amused, "Well you only have to put up with it for to weeks at the most. Then you can go back to just plain old Kami G1-003." She points at the numbers on Kami's uniform. Her face turns serious again, "When you get back to your room you will find a suitcase packed an ready for you. It has one weeks worth of normal clothes in it and a cellphone my family has provided for you to stay in touch. My number is also on it so please leave your other phone here with me today." She holds her hand out and Kami puts his phone in her hand. "You have two weeks max to either bring Aidan here or lure him out into a secluded area. I hope to see you soon and wish you luck in your task."
Kami smiles and nods, "I will not fail you." He promises.
"Very well, now head back to your room and dye your hair. You meet Samael on the roof after lights out to begin your mission." She tells him. He nods and skips back towards the elevator.
"What do you want me to do?" Shin asks.
"I want you to keep Utau from noticing he's gone for as long as possible. A whole week if you can. I have ordered in the composition books she requested. I've listened to her plans and have ordered the supplies needed to fullfill her requests. Help her with handing them out and it should make a nice distraction." Curse tells him.
"Where are these notebooks?" He asks.
"I have had them delivered to the storage basement underneath the main office. You will find them there." She says. "Now go. make sure no one sees Kami leave. There will be harsh penalties for anyone caught wandering around after curfew."
Shin nods and walks back to the elevator. He can probably get the notebooks tomorrow with Utau. The day after tomorrow will be the death match between Wakari and Sunpo so that should be plenty distraction as it is. He will have to find other ways to keep her busy after that.
At dinner he looks around the room for Utau. She's sitting with a table of G2 Curse Carriers. They're all very young and she seems to be comforting them. Shin walks in her direction but keeps his distance. Utau spots him and smiles and waves. She turns to the little ones and has them look at him.
"This is Shin. My second in command. If you can't find me you can always talk to him or he can tell you where to find me." She tells them. She has to pause and repeat the sentence in a few different languages and wait as the kids translate for each other.
