The beginning of the Lycan empire(22)

By the time, I had calmed down my wolf and myself the pack was already gathered around the fire facing Zeke and Theo as they stood in front of them all, the fire burning high behind him.  I joined the others but Zeke saw me and he waved me up. 

"Now that we all are gathered it is time to discuss the splitting of the packs. However before we start with that we have come across two complications, and both complications are caused by my cousin Dakota" my heart froze as Zeke said my name and I glanced at him. The people started muttering and I swallowed. 

"Hush and listen. It has come to my attention as well as Theo's that my little cousin's wolf has developed into an Alpha, thus making Dakota an Alpha as well. Now we aren't enough to split ourselves into three packs, so we have to find another way. We did find a way but that can cause complications as well. Theo has identified Dakota as a possible mate and Luna, now that solves the problem seeing that if Dakota become his Luna then we don't have the problem of having three Alphas" the people began cheering at the thought of having a Luna, but Zeke raised his hands. 

"The complication however is that Dakota has a mate, an Alpha werewolf mate." Zeke said and people began murmuring. 

"Well he isn't here and Theo is a Lycan! She should choose the right man who would give her pure Lycan heirs!" a woman shouted and my heart clenched.

"That is true, that is what Dakota would have done, if she was not in love with her mate. Now I am not making her decision for her and neither is Theo or you. Whether she wants to become Theo's Luna and move on from her mate is up to Dakota and only Dakota. I just told you so that the females of the pack knew that for the time being Theo is off limits and for the males to know that Dakota is off limits." Zeke said and the people shifted around. 

"Now moving on to the packs, those who wish to be placed into Theo's pack move to his side and those who wish to into mine move to my side. We will be choosing our Beta's after you have moved and then the pack names will be chosen" Zeke said and people instantly moved, I was shocked to see how people knew exactly what they wanted and at the end the exact same amount of people stood on each side. The pack has precisely divided itself in half, both Alphas have the exact same amount of people. 

"Theo would you like to choose?" Zeke said and Theo nodded, his eyes snapped to his pack and a young guy came walking up, they seemed to know each other well and I recognized the guy as one of the people who were here originally. 

"He was going to be Theo's Beta even before the whole killing thing, they are best friends" Zeke whispered. "He's name is Oliver" he said and I nodded. 

"Mitch get your arse up here" Zeke smirked as Mitchell came up and stood next to us.  

"Now Theo if you'd like to name your pack" Zeke said and Theo nodded before taking a dagger and slicing his palm, he walked over to the fire and dropped a few drops of his blood, the flames shot into the air turning into a black color and he stepped back. He passed the blade down the row of people and one by one they all dropped their blood into the fire, however the flames remained red as they dropped their blood, indicating they were just normal members, as soon as the last person did it Theo howled and they followed. 

"You are now all part of my pack, welcome, welcome to the Nostrae Initium Novum Pack!" he spoke loudly and the his people cheered. 

Welcome to the 'Our New Beginning' Pack, that was a well thought out name and it spoke a thousand of feelings.  Then Zeke received the blade from Theo and sliced his palm he repeated the process and gave the dagger to Mitchell, so it went and went until I received the blade, slicing my palm I dropped the blood into the fire and again the flames went to the black color, people murmured as they saw the flames but then they continued to drop their blood in the fire. As soon as the last person dropped their blood, Zeke howled and we followed, I felt the surge of power run through our veins as we became one, as we became a pack.
