Oblivion

Chapter 4

           "She was screaming in her sleep. We had to tie her down so she didn't hurt herself or anyone around her." The nurse standing next to Jules said. Jules sighed and slowly untied her friends hands and feet. "I suggest you help her get into therapy or even get her evaluated, her mental health isn't looking good, her vitals are normal but there is something wrong we just can't see what." Jules stood up and turned to the nurse narrowing her eyes before taking Serenity's file. "She was injured Gina, of course she'll be a bit out of it. That doesn't mean she is losing control. Go sign her discharge papers now, she needs to go home." Gina looked shocked her eyebrows raising. "Juliette you can't just have her discharged because you think she needs to be home that's highly unprofessional."                                                                                                                        "So is having her tied down like an animal, now do as I say before I have you written up." Jules snapped before watching the nurse scurry out of the room. "You're a hard ass aren't you?" a deep voice said behind her. Jules stood and starred at the stranger who took up the doorway. His blue eyes starred holes into Jules and her blonde hair was styled perfectly and he wore a suit that was made specifically for him and his tall muscular frame. "Who the hell are you?" Jules demanded. "Down girl, I came to check on your friend. Serenity was it?" The man said stepping into the room towering over Jules. "Again, who the hell are you?" The man chuckled softly the sound rough and full of arrogance. "I'm Draco love. A friend of Serenity's." As the man , Draco got closer Jules saw that his hair was darker as was his eyes. It was strange she felt as if she knew the man but she couldn't pinpoint where she knew him from. "She is okay yes?" Draco asked pulling Jules from her thoughts. "Yes now if you'll excuse me." Jules said turning her focus on Serenity as the strange man left the room. A low laugh filled the room as he left sending chills down her spine stopping her in her tracks. "Jules she's been discharged lets go. Now." Avalon said coming into the room. "I know. She isn't awake yet Avalon so I need more time." Jules snapped unhooking Serenity from the IV. "Shit Juliette we don't have time for this." Scarlet said her red hair like a flame as she grabbed Serenity's stuff. "Where's Olivia?" Jules demanded as she and Avalon helped Serenity into a wheel chair. "Out back with Aaron and Dimitri. Jonas and Zena are at her apartment making sure Grayson isn't there. But we need to go now." Scarlet said leaving the room with Jules and Avalon behind her. The lights flashed rapidly and light bulbs exploded around them making patients and hospital staff screaming.  "She's mine!" a loud voice shouted shaking the entire hospital. Dark shadows floated around them loud screams piercing their air. "Go! The door is over there I'll meet you there." Avalon said as she fell to the ground pulling a knife from her boot.  "Avalon no!" Scarlet screamed as a shadow jumped out at her. Avalon grabbed the shadow her dark brown eyes turning white as she stabbed through the shadow, shrill screams sounded around them and the building began to crumble around them as they dashed outside Avalon barley making it as the building fell. "It's back." Scarlet said as they helped the unconscious Serenity into the car.  All this running and hiding had finally caught up with them. Avalon thought as the sky turned dark and rain fell around them. Sirens sounded and people screamed as the hospital fell. This was it, the war was back on.
