Serenity sighed softly as Xavier held her to him, his hand placed over her stomach. "I didn't hurt you did I?" he asked kissing her neck. Serenity chuckled softly her gaze going to his. It's been two months since their wedding and she hasn't been happier she was in love with this man and she found it funny that he would think he could hurt her, "No," she finally whispered kissing his lips. "Good," he pushed her back to her back kissing her as he lifted her up to meet him but she gasped, "I think my water broke," Xavier looked down at her arching an eyebrow, "Stop that look, I'm serious this time." Serenity sat up clutching her stomach pain radiating from her stomach, Xavier moved quickly pulling his clothes back on pulling a shirt over her head before pulling her up, "Did Jules ready a room for you already? A human hospital wouldn't work, fuck I should've paid more attention to the damn book and Jules." Xavier muttered causing Serenity to laugh, "Jules said it'll be a safe delivery," Serenity groaned as pain went through her back and stomach and it made Xavier move fast to the sterile room at the very edge of the house. "Jules!" Serenity shouted as Xavier helped her lay on the bed her body was burning up and the joking between her and Xavier stopped. She looked down at her stomach watching as the babies moved almost like they were fighting to be free from her. Jules rushed into the room pulling on gloves, it was happening fast, too fast. "Jules it hurts," Serenity cried as the house began to shake. Jules looked up her gaze going gray, before she met Xavier's gaze. "We have company." Serenity's body burned and Xavier tensed as loud crashes sounded throughout the house. Serenity screamed as pain radiated from her, stronger this time, her back arched and Jules told her to push. Xavier kissed her head before pulling away, "Xavier please," she cried her body weakening. "Baby, I have to protect you. To protect them. Olivia and Scarlet are here now. I love you." Xavier kissed her lips before leaving the room. Serenity cried out the smell of blood heavy in the air, the lights flickered and Serenity was going in and out of consciousness her body was shutting down she could feel it, she needed Xavier.

Xavier ran upstairs his mind on Serenity as a sword flew at him. He caught it and slammed it down on the immortal who threw it. He pulled his black heart through his chest cavity pushing him away from him. He could hear Serenity scream in pain and he had to stop himself from going to her he needed to finish what was started. "Xavier!" He turned quickly at the warning catching the immortal by the throat snapping his head off, "Draco is here, we don't have much time before they catch on." Carson said throwing a black heart away from him. Xavier nodded turning to Carson, "Take care of them, promise that she will be happy." Carson nodded and hugged Xavier quickly inclining his head to him. "I will brother. I just hope you know what you're doing." Xavier nodded to Carson then walked away killing those who got in his way but missed  one person. A dagger impelled his heart forcing him to his knees. His mind blanked his body slowly shut down his heart slowing and blood filled his mouth. His mind went to Serenity, to their years together. "My father would kill me if he saw what we were doing," Serenity laughed the sound music to his ears. "I love you Xavier." Xavier kissed her that first time she whispered those words to him she was so innocent and he had her. "You are my greatest weakness Serenity," She would look at him with those big blue eyes holding all trust for him.
"You promised you wouldn't leave me,"  her tears fell over him and it broke him down as she held his hand in her smaller ones. "I love you Serenity."
That was the last thing he thought before darkness consumed him.

Serenity woke up slowly her gaze falling on the people who surrounded her. She was no longer in the room anymore instead she was in a hospital. "Xavier?" she whispered softly her eyes trying to adjust to the light. No one said anything just stood silently, Serenity tried to sit up but Jules stopped her a small hand on her shoulder. "Serenity, Xavier he's, he's dead." Serenity shook her head tears falling down her face, "No, he promised, he said he'd be back. He said he'd be there for the babies." Serenity could feel his loss her heart felt empty and she sobbed, her body was shaking with the force of her tears, her pain evident he was gone. "He promised," that was all she could say. Jules wrapped her arms around her holding her as she let go her pain becoming to much for her. He was really gone.
