The weeks bled into each other until it was the night before Xavier was supposed to go to Cuba. The full moon wasn't for a few more days but they were going early so that they could be prepared and get a feel of the people around. No one knew what they were getting into or who the wiccan was which concerned Serenity because any of them could be hurt. "What are you thinking about?" Xavier asked as he leaned up on an elbow to stare down at her. "Why don't you want me to go with you?" Serenity asked turning towards him letting the sheet fall to her waist as she sat up pulling on her bra and underwear so that she could sit up and talk to him. "Serenity we discussed this already," "No Xavier you discussed it and didn't let me say a word about it." Xavier sighed sitting up looking directly at Serenity his bed head screaming that he just had sex and his love bites indicated it too but Serenity turned her focus to him trying not to get distracted by him. "I don't want to lose you Serenity." Serenity sighed moving towards him and sat on his lap wrapping her arms around his neck kissing his lips softly. "Xavier I know you wouldn't let anything happen to me. I don't want to be apart from you especially when it thousands of miles away." Serenity whispered softly running her fingers through his long black hair sighing as he rubbed his whiskered check against her throat before kissing down her neck to her breast not giving her an answer, instead he was seducing her. "Xavier," she sighed as he pushed her to her back as he hovered over her his golden brown eyes holding her captive. "Fine, but you stay by me at all times. Understand?" Serenity nodded kissing him again before they got lost in each other the second time that night.
"Serenity you can back out anytime you want." Aaron said as she walked down the stairs holding her bag ignoring her brother. "Serenity I'm serious. You have no idea what we are up against and you aren't strong enough to handle whatever it is we are walking in on." Serenity bared her teeth to her brother her hand catching fire as her anger got the best of her. "I'm so sick of people telling me I'm weak," the fire alarm sounded through the house and Serenity unclenched her fist the flame disappearing from her hand and she calmed. "I'm sorry I don't know what overcame me." Aaron didn't say anything just took her bag and left her on the stairs alone. Serenity sighed following soon after and met Xavier by the door as he watched over their friends arrange the weapons and bags to where they could bring it on the commercial flight that Eli booked for them. "Your brother said his old college roommate Jonas is letting us stay with him and his mate when we get to Cuba." Serenity nodded barley paying attention to what Xavier was saying, in the back of her mind she felt as if something was coming, something that none of them could prepare for. What made it worse was that no one knew who the oldest immortal was or what they could do. But Serenity knew that whatever happened during the full moon would change their lives forever.
