Three days later: Italy:
"She's still asleep?" Aaron asked as he walked into the room Serenity lay in. Jules nodded and stood stretching her body from not moving for too long. "We can't wake her but I doubt she'll want to wake up in a different country with five strangers sitting in the next room claiming they can help us. That's a lot to put on her. Besides for the last few years we've been lying to her and I don't have the desire to tell her about all of this in one sitting Aaron." Jules said leaving the room running her hands through her hair as she walked through the large house that had nothing but marble walls and floors. Antique furniture that was probably in Queen Elizabeth's palace. "Why have you come back?" Scarlet was shouting as she paced the darkened living room. "The same reason you did. To protect the girl." The dark haired man said his golden brown eyes burning with rage, Xavier. "Her name is Serenity you should know that!" Avalon said jumping into the conversation. "Please you all have been lying to the poor girl since the day she was reborn. All of this could've been stopped if you did as you were told and now we are all paying the price." Xavier snapped. Jules rolled her eyes and stood by the fire place staring into the deep orange flames. "We weren't going to kill her. Through it all she was the only one who remained innocent. That's what drew him to her." Aaron said as he walked in his dark eyes staring at them with intent. "What's got you all quite over there love?" a deep voice said his Scottish accent heavy. Ian was his name and the only man Jules could tolerate without wanting to kill him where he stood. "At the hospital, Draco was there. In her room." Jules said never turning from the fire. "And you didn't think to stop him?" Isiah shouted grabbing Jules by her arm his blue eyes burning hotter than the fireplace. His teeth were bared to her as if he wanted to hurt her, "Not much I could do alone trying to make sure he didn't grab Serenity." She snapped pulling her arm away from him. "How'd you even find us anyways?" Jules demanded. "Your friend over there looks the same from the first time we met, thousands of years ago." Isiah said sarcastically pointing to Avalon. "Yeah like you're better, you smell of a dog just like the day Draco dragged your sorry ass out of the rain in Greece." Avalon said easily as if she didn't have a care in the world. Isiah was in front of her in a second glaring down at her before he smirked and pulled her into a bear hug. "Oh how I missed your banter." He said touching her face in a show of affection. Avalon smiled a rare occurrence for the woman before her gaze focused on the hallway where Serenity stood her light blue eyes wide as she looked around her surroundings. "Where am I?" she asked slowly walking into the room her short frame being towered by everyone in the room except Zena who was still in New York doing damage control with Dimitri. Silence thickened the air like fog with no one talking or moving. That was before Olivia walked in the room, "Foods done." With that they all walked into the kitchen where a feast lay in wait for them.
As they ate in silence Serenity spoke up. "What's going on and who are these people?" No one said anything making Serenity all the more annoyed, "Look you can be quite all you want I have all night to get answers out of you. Tell me what's going on. Now." A tall man stood up his black hair touched his broad shoulders and his muscular frame was soon behind her his golden brown eyes stared into her blue ones before saying, "You're being hunted."
