Serenity looked over at Olivia her eyes going back into focus letting what she said sink in. "He, he's not dead?" she whispered looking up at Olivia who gently shook her head. "But Jules said," Serenity started before turning to Jules who lay unconscious on the floor Isiah kneeling beside her checking her pulse. "Oh my God." she whispered dropping next to Juliette pulling her away from Isiah who growled at her his blue eyes flashing gold for a second but Serenity didn't pay attention to him or anyone else in the room. She hurt one of her best friends. "Juliette I'm so sorry, I didn't, I didn't mean to hurt you." Serenity whispered over and over again guilt eating at her like a flesh eating bacteria. She couldn't do it. She can't help them with Draco, she didn't have it in her to hurt someone.

Hours later:

Juliette sat at the edge of her bed wiping the blood from her chest in frustration as a sharp knock sounded on her door, "Go away." she snapped but the door opened showing Isiah who crossed his arms over his chest. "You're an idiot." he stated uncrossing his arms and walking into the room closing the door behind him. "Says the man who single handedly took on the German army in 1938 because you were bored." Jules said throwing the towel on her bed and raking a hand through her hair. "You remember that?" Isiah asked chuckling. Jules scoffed to herself, "It;s kind of hard to forget when you came to me afterwards covered in blood and your signature black clothes were ripped." She said staring pointedly at his black shirt.  "But I doubt you came here to discuss all the stupid things you've done in the past. It's something else, so what do you want." Isiah glared at her as she looked at the slowly healing wound healed on her chest. Her dirty blonde hair was just like when they had first met, her blue green eyes were softer back then.

Isiah walked the court yard his sword hanging on his waist and his hand sat on the hilt as he made his rounds around the palace, making sure none of the Kings enemies lurked in the shadows. "Excuse me my lord," a gentle voice said behind him startling him as he grabbed his sword and pointed it at a petite woman with dark blonde curls cascading down her slender neck to her shapely hips. She had angelic features that left him compelled that he hardly noticed when she touched the tip of his sword and pushed it down and away from her throat. "I doubt I'm any threat to you or your King mi lord." She said a small smile playing on her lush pink lips.

"My mistake, mi lady. How may I be of service?" Isiah said bowing to her. "My name is Juliette, I was wondering if you'd escort me to the ball tonight?" Juliette asked batting her eye lashes to him. Isiah heard giggles behind him and he saw a group of women behind him gathered together as they watched them. "Don't mind them. They think it is an odd occurrence for a woman to invite a man to a ball." Juliette said fixing the hat on her head and running her hands nervously down her dress. "Well I think it's a mans job to ask a woman. Not the other way around mi lady." Juliette shrugged her delicate shoulders and went to turn away before Isiah stopped her. "But I'd be honored to escort you to the ball." Juliette turned a smile gracing her face. "Thank you," Isiah nodded and said "Isiah. I'll see you soon Ms. Juliette."

"You should stop thinking of the past Isiah. It was a long time ago." Jules said grabbing a shirt from the dresser before turning to Isiah. "How do you know I was thinking about the past?" he asked. "You had that look on your face." Isiah didn't respond to her comment but focused on what he came to see her for. "She could've killed you, and you baited her."                                                 "Well we weren't getting anywhere coddling her. She needs to channel her strength and powers sooner rather than later because nothing good can come from sitting here waiting for nature to take it's course." Isiah sighed pulling the shirt from her hands his tall muscular build towering over her smaller frame. "That's not your choice to make Juliette. After tonight she's not going to be able to handle it. She was broken after seeing you unconscious and bleeding on the floor. She won't be able to kill someone who is protecting Draco." Jules sighed grabbing back her shirt before opening the bedroom door, "Something needs to be done and you and the guys shouldn't be here. You basically just signed your own death certificates yourselves. It's been centuries since we've seen each other we moved on. We can't relive the past that's how we got into this mess in the first place." Isiah rolled his eyes and went to leave the room before turning to Juliette. "We were a lost cause before we were even born. You can't just stop being mates. That's a rare occurrence in The Realm of the Dead." Juliette stared at him confused by what he said. "What does that have to do with us?" she asked him. "When you were all reborn the gods punished Draco for going against nature, they have been punishing him ever since your deaths."     "That was centuries ago, we were all reborn we're alive what does mates have anything to do with Draco and his narcissistic agenda towards us?"                                                                                                 "The Wanted ones, you have destined mates it's how we always meet again and again but 1598 was the last time we saw each other because Serenity was killed again."  Jules sighed, "That doesn't clear up the reason that Draco is still after us."                                                                         "He mated himself with Serenity against her will. He lost his crown in The Realm of the Dead when he did so, now he wants it back and to do so he has to kill you all one final time to get what he wants."                                                                                                                                                                           "We will only be reborn again." Jules said but Isiah was shaking his head, "No if you die this time it's final, we will all die unless we can channel all of your powers to defeat Draco once and for all."
