"Are you insane?" Jules snapped shutting the door before glaring at Isiah. He shrugged leaning against the wall his arms over his broad chest. "What do you want, me to lie and say that everything is going to be okay when it clearly isn't." Isiah said angrily walking towards Jules. "It's been centuries and yet we are still running. It's never going to stop. We can't kill Draco, we've tried time and time again and here we are. Doing the same shit that we did when we first met. There has to be another way to kill him." Jules said talking to herself as she thought to all those years ago, there had to be a reason for all of this. Why all of this trouble for a mate, every immortal had that one person they were fated to unless. "Oh my god," she whispered to herself before rushing past Isiah and running down the long hallway her heart racing in her chest like a battle drum.
"Mother you can't do this to the king." Juliette said chasing after her mother as they ran through the woods. Branches slapped at her face scratching her skin until blood dropped onto her gown, but her mother never stopped. "You mustn't concern yourself in this matter child. You will run and never look back. The world will get worse and we will need you to return some day, all of you but not today. You will know the day, you will feel it but not a moment sooner." Juliette'smother turned pressing a small chain into her hand bending down to her level her breathing labored. "Mother you are going against the very thing we vowed to father. You are defying the gods and now you run from them." Juliette whispered her voice cracking with her unshed tears. "This needs to happen, I love you child." her mother said before a large arrow pushed through her chest, Juliette screamed holding her mothers dead body in her arms tears streaming down her face as war rang out in the distance, the immortal world had collided with the mortal realm.
"Draco isn't immortal." Jules rushed out as she stopped in the living room clutching the thin chain that has been around her neck for centuries. "He wasn't born, he was created out of hate. He can't die because he isn't immortal." Avalon glared at her before it dawned on her. "Oh my god." Xavier sighed agitation radiating from him, "Can someone explain to me what the hell is going on?" he demanded. "We are Draco's life source." Olivia said.
"He's immortal he doesn't need a life source. He needs to die." Carson said angrily. "Draco is almost like a fragment of our imagination he can only die when he has a life source. He has been around for centuries as only a wisp in the wind. He's not in power anymore. He is as dead as a human can be. But he can't die and go to hell unless he has the immortality needed to kill him and send him back to where he belongs." Scarlet said pacing around them, "We don't have time to try and get Serenity's powers back. Draco could easily find us. He has an agenda and could very well know where we..." Scarlet's sentence drifted off as the sound of glass breaking interrupted, the house shook and the walls began to crack down the middle and if they didn't leave soon they would be crushed under the structure. Xavier grabbed Serenity's hand pulling her towards him as rocks fell and sheet rock flew around them. "We need to go," he snapped.
"We can't leave them." Serenity said turning to look for her brother and friends. "There's no time for that Serenity they'll be fine now lets go." Serenity nodded letting him take her hand and they ran through the obnoxiously large house looking for an exit. Shadows surrounded them making the house dark making it difficult to see. The only thing that stopped Serenity from having a panic attack was the fact that Xavier held her hand and was right beside her. "There's a door down the hall, take the keys and drive away." Xavier said turning to her pressing a pair of cold keys into her hand. "What? You're not coming with me?" she demanded her heart racing. "Serenity I'm right behind you just go." Xavier shouted pushing her toward the door. Serenity ran outside the cold hitting her as she ran across the yard as rain pelted against her skin making her stick to her skin. Serenity saw a mustang sitting in the distance and made her way towards it only to be pulled back by her hair. Serenity fell to her back the air rushing from her lungs as a large man landed on her. His eyes were black, his teeth long and yellow with blood seeping from the side of his mouth as he smirked at her before running his tongue over her cheek. Serenity struggled against him trying not to vomit as she fought against him. "Don't fight me." he whispered his voice dripping like acid as he held her hands above her head. Serenity bucked against him getting her feet up and she pushed with all her strength and sent the man flying. He screamed the sound bursting her eardrums. Serenity screamed in pain holding her ears as she fought to stand up, she wouldn't keep running. Especially if that's all she did based on those memories she was shown. She would fight and stop being coddled like she was her entire life.
"You don't want to get on my bad side child." the man said licking long fangs as if he wanted to tear into her throat. Serenity stood up no one but the two of them in sight. She was far from the house so she couldn't call for help, so she either gave the man what he wanted whatever that was, or she would fight. She didn't give it too much thought because he rushed her and the next thing she knew he was coming for her and the key was sticking out of his eye. Blood oozed from his cornea and dripped down his hollow cheek as he ripped the metal from his eye. Serenity took off into a fast run away from the man, rocks cut into her feet and tree branches slapped into her face. Where the hell was she? She wondered as she got farther and father away from the house. "Run all you want," a voice called behind her, "but I will find you and when I do it will be way worse for you." The teasing in his voice left to be replaced with nothing but rage. Serenity grabbed a large branch turning quickly and impaling it into the man. Shock clouded his black eyes as the thick branch pierced his heart. Blood ran down his body as he fell to the ground lifeless, she killed him. Serenity swallowed hard before running back to the car, she grabbed the keys that lay on the wet ground blood still staining the metal as she climbed into the mustang the leather causing her wet body to stick to the seat. With shaky hands Serenity turned on the car the heat hitting her in the face. The door opened and Xavier stood outside his chest heaving up and down as if he were struggling for breath. His shirt was ripped open showing a gash down his ribs but he didn't seem fazed by it at all. "Move over," he commanded. Serenity shuffled into the passenger seat her eyes turning to the destroyed house. "Is." she started but he stopped his as he put the car in first gear and raced away from the house. "Everyone is fine," he said looking over at her. "Are you okay? You're bleeding." Serenity looked down at herself and saw that her shirt was ripped down the middle and her jeans were just as bad off as her shirt. "I'm fine, it's not my blood," she said pulling her shirt closed. Xavier looked at Serenity watching as her hands shook and her eyes wandered outside the window her body was stiff and he felt bad for her. "There's a blanket in the backseat."he said to Serenity as the phone rang through the stereo system. "We're good on this end. Ian is with Olivia and Carson. They will fill us in on everything until then we need to loose all contact with each other, to throw Draco off." Isiah said through the system. "Alright. Don't do anything stupid." Xavier said ending the call. "Where are we going?" Serenity asked as she pulled the blanket from the back seat and wrapping it around herself. "Greece."
