Serenity sat at the edge of the edge of the balcony her gaze watching over the cliff and watched the water over lap the jagged rocks. Her mind was wandering and soon fell onto the ring that Xavier placed on her finger, the red gem glittered in the sun and the black band held diamonds. She sighed running her thumb gently over it a small glimmer of hope for them shining through the ring. "Serenity," Serenity turned at Jules voice her gaze meeting her friends. "I'm pregnant," Serenity took a deep breath as Jules sat next to her her hand closing over hers. "I know. I can hear the heart beats." Serenity looked over the horizon as the sun began to set tears pooling in her eyes. "I can't bring a child let alone two into this world, not with Draco out."
"Serenity, when the shadow realm was destroyed The Creator was set free. Draco is the least of our worries." Serenity took a breath wondering how it could get any worse, but deep down she knew it would get worse and she didn't think she'd be ready for it. But she didn't say anything to Jules about her worries she needed to talk to Xavier, she needed to know he was safe that their kids were safe. She stood and walked back inside and went to find Xavier only to see him training with Isiah and Eli.  Her gaze followed every graceful movement he made his muscles straining with every move, he was dangerous and she knew that but it still shocked her when she saw him, not the careful and gentle man not even the possessive one who dominated her with his strength but this man was a trained killer, and she knew he would protect her at all costs. Xavier looked up his gaze landing on Serenity his brown eyes glittering as he stared at her. She smiled softly not wanting to  disturb him, Xavier pulled away from sparing and walked over to Serenity, "Are you alright?" Serenity nodded staring up at him, her hand pushing his damp hair out of his face. "Just wanted to see you, I didn't mean to disturb you." Xavier grabbed her hand when she went to move away from him keeping her to him, "Serenity," Serenity stopped him with a swift kiss to his lips, "I'll be fine." She moved away and left Xavier standing in the training hall. Serenity walked up stairs wondering if Xavier knew more than what he was letting on but she wouldn't push him, she knew he'd protect her but she also knew Draco wouldn't stop until he got what he wanted, but it was the new threat that was concerning, she didn't want to wait until it was to late to do anything either. So she needed to find Draco, before it was too late.

Months bled into each other and Serenity didn't have any luck finding Draco nor did Xavier leave her side for her to do so. She was already far along in her pregnancy that it was harder for her to even walk up the stairs but she didn't give up hope that she'd find Draco, he wanted something and so did she, she just had to get away from Xavier. "What are you thinking about?" Serenity turned her head looking over at Xavier as he stood leaning against the door frame crossing his arms as he stared at her. "Xavier, do you know where Draco is?" she finally asked closing the book in front of her. "Serenity." Serenity stood putting her hand over her rounded stomach, "Don't do that Xavier, I know you've been training to fight him or whatever these last few months. You promised me you would be here, to marry me and be there for the babies you can't do that with you putting your life at risk," Xavier walked over to her his arms banding around her pulling her close to him, "Serenity you don't need to worry about it, I've got it handled I need you to trust me." Serenity searched his face but he held no emotion, he was stoic as if he were trying to convince not only her but himself. "Xavier," his name came out as a soft plea, she was terrified at what would happen to him, to them but she knew there was nothing she could do to change his mind. She needed to trust him but at that moment she didn't think she could.
