It was too bright. The space crowded me. It was uncomfortable, but it felt safe and secure. I heard a loud whimpering, and struggled to keep my eyes open long enough to look around. It was blurry, and the white walls and roof blinded my sleepy eyes.
As I went to move my hands so I could sit myself up, something restrained me from doing so. Dafuq?! I tried to free myself from these restraints. What the hell is this? I questioned. "Milo?" I began, still tugging on the restraint. "Where are you?" I asked.
She barked, and I looked over to where I heard her. "Milo. Here girl." She wimpered and yapped, and I listened to her bangles clink around. I heard something snap, and felt her jump up next to me a moment later.
I'd nearly fully woken up. It was really bright, and I'd just now noticed what I was laying on was almsot rock solid. "God..." I thought aloud.
I kept trying to get out of these restrains. They just felt like really tight straps. I'm trying my hardest to get out, but nothing seems to be working.
Suddenly, the strap around my left wrist gave way. Score! Now to rid of the one on my right. It shouldn't be far from breaking point now...
And some guy decides to walk on. Bonus points; he has a police uniform on. Shit...
"Alright Miss. We were never informed of your last name. Care to explain?" "I could ask you the same thing... where the hell am I?" I replied fairly. "You've been placed in the Mental Health Centre of the local medical clinic. Once the doctors come to check in on you and everything's been given the okay, you'll be under arrest." he told me.
"Under arrest for what?" I asked. Milo growled, and stood over my stomach as I laid in the rock hard bed. He glared at my dog in disgust, and snarled at the both of us. "For suspected murder..." he told. "The only reason we hadn't already taken you to the cells is because our crew had shot you, and they claimed you told them to."
"Hey woah! Lemme clear this up. I didn't-" "You can tell me in a moment. I must rid of this dog first..." he butted in, heading in toward Milo.
As he came over, I forcefully pulled on the strap around my restrained wrist, just as the officer tried to grab Milo. Although she was moving back toward the left side of the bed, he reached over me, trying to get to her.
"Milo..." I encouraged.
She came up toward my face and the officer followed. Once his head was above my gut, I punched the officer ever so hard with my free hand.
"Like I said..." I slowly began as I quickly sat up and tore the other restraint, leaped off the bed and dug my knees into his back as he groaned in pain on the floor, his nose bleeding like a fountain.
"I didn't kill my best friend,"I continued. "And no, you cannot pat my pooch." I said bitterly. Milo barked. and I felt better than I had before. I had taken his gun from his belt, and knocked him upside the head, sending him uncouncious. "Houston. He has a problem." I said into my imaginary speaker, and I headed to the exit.
I was out of here, and to soon seek out my pure, sweet revenge.
I poked my head around the corner, and saw nobody. I held the gun steadily and ran like the wind. I'd stop and look around the corner each time before I'd proceed. Milo smelt something, and got slightly distracted. So did I. Kitchen? I thought to myself. Yum! No Kass, your stomach will have to wait.
I came across many hallways and corridors as I continued down the main hall. This place felt massive! Eventually I arrived at the front desk. Nobody sat at the desk, and nobody guarded the front door.
I sat myself down at the desk quickly, hunting for anything of use. I looked out the window to my freedom. Where's the key? I searched around while people yelled out to me in a series of clouded cries.
"Let me out!"
"I didn't do it!"
"It's not my fault!"
"I was set up!"
I confused these voices with those in my head. I knew where the prisoners heads were. They were broken, confused, seeking revenge. Milo was sniffing out the desk, looking for them too.
As I searched for a key, I saw a lever. 'Emergancy Cell Release.' Without thought, I pulled the lever, and I heard many doors open abruptly. Red sirens flashed over the walls and prisoners of all sorts ran past the front desk. Again, their excited voices filled the air.
"They're coming!"
"Run!"
"Thanks!"
Of all that ran past reception, one boy stopped into the desk space. He glanced over at me, then looked back to where the others were heading toward the door.
"Break the glass!" one of the prisoners yelled. "How?" asked another as one silly man decided to take a run up to the window, and throw himself into the glass. That worked really well. I thought sarcastically.
Milo barked, and I had an idea. I grabbed the gun from my pocket and moved to the front of the crowd. 3 shots in the middle of the panel, and once again, it shattered into many pieces. There were cheers all around, and everybody rushed to get out.
I ran over to the desk and picked up Milo, and looked to the boy who had waited for me. He ran, and we followed eachother out.
After we'd gotten out of the buildings light range, we stopped behind some bushes, because we heard some guards come out. I was looking at them, when he introduced himself.
"I'm Kayden." he said. I looked over to him. "I just turned 16. Thank you for helpin' us out." he grinned. "No prob. It was just instinct..." I replied. Milo quietly yapped, and he looked down at her and gave her a gentle pat.
"This is Milo, by the way." I added as she spun around in excitment. "She's cute." he grinned. "Is your name just as unique?" he asked, smiling up at me. "Oh." I laughed. "Excuse me. I'm Kassidy." I replied, smiling like an idiot.
Heyy Hii Hello! =D
