"Out of my way, shrimp," Kaito said, pushing Bora.
"Do I really have to come with you?" I asked. Kaito had his arm around me, and he was dragging me with him.
"Of course, I can't have you running to Nicholae and begging to escape again," Kaito said.
"Kaito, you escaped?" Felix questioned, "Well, I guess there is no point in putting you back in jail."
"You are giving up that fast?!" I cried.
"He's my brother, not my enemy," Felix said with a shrug, and Nicholae and Vasile walked into the room.
"Oh look, Aurora, your fan club is here," Kaito said, dryly.
Vasile punched the wall. "We are not her fan club!" he yelled, "You are the most annoying person in this house, I swear!"
Kaito smirked. "And you are my follower more than my brother."
"Kaito, just let her go," Nicholae said sadly, "It doesn't seem like Aurora likes you back."
"That's right," I said, "You should just let me go."
"Shut up," Kaito said, and then he kissed me, forcing his tongue into my mouth! I gagged and Bora, Nicholae, Vasile, and Felix screamed at the same time.
"I can do whatever I want whenever I want," Kaito said, "You guys are my pawns, and you will never find it in your heart to disobey me."

I sighed and looked up at the full moon. Kaito was forcing me to eat with him outside. At this point, I was starting to lose hope of ever escaping.
"Eat," Kaito commanded, giving me a sandwich.
"I'm not hungry," I said, and I threw the sandwich at a tree.
"What is wrong with you?" Kaito hissed, "Do you want to spend an entire night in the dungeon?"
"Kaito," I said, ignoring him, "Why don't you have a phone?"
"What is the point?" Kaito asked, "Life was so much better before phones were invented."
"Even Vasile and Nicholae have phones," I said, "You should get one too. That way, we would be able to communicate more."
"Communicate more?" Kaito asked, "We live together though."
"When I go back to New York, we won't be able to text or call at all," I said, "But with phones we could."
"It's sweet how you think you are going back to New York," Kaito said, "But since you seem to care for me, I guess I will get one."
"Cool," I said, walking to the car, "Let's go."
"Who needs to drive when they can teleport?" Kaito asked, touching my arm, and we immediately teleported to the village, in front of an Apple store.
"Ah, finally, we aren't in the house anymore," I said, walking into the store.
"So what type of phone should I buy?" Kaito asked, sounding highly enthusiastic.
"Um, I'm not sure..." I mumbled, walking to a corner. I saw a man in a cotton shirt under blue overalls and muddy white sneakers.
"Excuse me, but can I borrow that?" I asked, pointing to the crucifix around his neck.
"Why?" he asked, with a frown.
"You see," I said, lowering my voice, "I think a demon is following me."
"Oh my," the man said with a gasp. He reached into his pocket and took out another crucifix.
"I carry a spare," he explained, "I suggest that you do the same too."
"Thank you," I said, and I walked back to Kaito.
"I'm thinking about getting the new iphone," Kaito said, "What do you think?"
"Huh?" I asked, "Oh, yes. That's great."
Kaito took out a stack of money from his money and gave it to the cashier. After he bought the phone, he forced me to come with him to some fancy Icelandic restaurant where they actually served us seal blood pudding and walrus meat.
"So," I started, breaking the silence, "Have you ever traveled to America before?"
"No," Kaito replied with an arrogant smirk, "I have no desire to go to a place full of busy streets and fat people."
"Not everyone in America is fat," I said, rolling my eyes, "That is just a stereotype the rest of the world gave to us."
"Because it is true," Kaito mumbled.
"There are lots of hot boys in New York," I continued, trying to trigger him, "I don't think it is quite the same here."
Kaito glared at me. "Did you like someone in New York?" he snapped.
"Oh yes," I said with an evil grin, "He was a good friend of mine. Blonde hair, blue eyes. He was the perfect person."
Kaito looked like he wanted to punch someone, "Maybe I will go to America," he said, "And kill your crush."
"Is there anything you like to do for fun?" I asked, trying to change the subject.
"Sucking blood."
"Anything else? What about writing?"
"I stopped writing a long time ago," Kaito said with a far away look in his eyes, "However, now I like to hunt and cook."
"Have you ever read the novel Dracula?" I asked.
"Oh yes, it was so stupid how they were able to kill Dracula so easily," Kaito said, "It should have been harder."
"I know right!" I said, "The vampires were only evil and the humans were only good that it felt weak. They both should have displayed both sides."
"Yes. But I still liked the novel, because it was so relatable," Kaito said with a laugh.
I laughed too. It was nice to know that Kaito had a humanistic side. But sadly, he ended up showing it too late.
"So you and Dracula both hate holy objects?" I asked, taking out the crucifix from my pocket.
Kaito hissed, moving his chair back. "Get that away from me," he said.
"Why? What's so bad about this?" I asked.
"Nothing?" Kaito said, "It's just..."
I threw the necklace at him, and it burned through his flesh, before falling on the floor. Kaito screamed, and I took the opportunity to run away.
