The bat was gone, and I cried, running across the hallway. I had wished so badly for Kaito to love me that I hadn't noticed myself slowly falling for Nicholae. I loved the way he smiled. I loved the frustrated look he made whenever he was in shock. Hell, I even loved the fact that he was two inches shorter than me. Nicholae had already confessed to me, but I had never told him that I loved him. And that was what I was going to do now.
I walked into his room and gasped. All the windows were broken, and there were shards of glass everywhere. I looked down and saw a puddle of blood.
"Aurora," Nicholae rasped, crawling out from a dark corner. "My dad tried to kill me last night."
I screamed. Nicholae was covered in blood, and his body was covered in wooden stakes.
"Nicholae!" I cried, running towards him. "Oh my god, what should I do?"
"Take me to outside to the lake," Nicholae whispered.
I nodded, and was able to carry him on my back all the way to the lake. I laid him on the grass, and Nicholae winced in pain.
"Do you want me to get someone?" I asked.
"No," Nicholae said. "I just want to stare at the moon one last time before I die."
"What?" I said, tears spilling out of my eyes. "But you are a vampire! You can't die!"
"Darling, are you crying for me?" Nicholae asked. "You seem as if you are in love with me."
"Because I am!" I cried, pounding on the ground. "We were supposed to be together forever!"
"Say the words then," Nicholae rasped. "I want to hear it."
Tears spilled from my eyes. "Nicholae, I love you."
I didn't care if his face was full of blood. I leaned down and kissed him on the lips.
"He put too much stakes in me. My body couldn't handle it," Nicholae said. "I still have one wish that was unfulfilled."
"What?" I questioned.
"I've never heard you sing."
I looked at him in shock. "Sing me something," Nicholae said, closing his eyes.
"I'll sing you a song then," I said. I looked down and started to sing:
Are you going to Scarborough Fair?
Parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme.
Remember me to one who lives there.
She once was a true lover of mine. Tell her to make a cambric shirt.
Parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme.
"What did you think?" I asked. But Nicholae didn't reply. He just lay there.
"Nicholae?" I repeated, even though I knew he wouldn't reply. Tears fell down my face, and I screamed I grabbed a couple of flowers from the ground and screamed, jumping on the flowers to ruin them. How dare they! How dare everyone try to hurt anyone who lives in this house! Nicholae didn't deserve this; he was a good person.
"You know what, I'm done," I said like a madman. "I'm done living in this cruel world!"
I grabbed Nicholae's hands and dragged him into the lake. I was going to make both Nicholae's and my body disappear at the same time. I threw Nicholae into the lake, and I jumped into the lake after him. I felt myself slowly falling into the darkness of the lake, and I grabbed onto Nicholae so that we wouldn't be apart. I could almost see seventeen year old Kaito screaming and drowning 200 years ago. Why was I thinking about Kaito right now? I closed my eyes and put my head against Nicholae's chest...

"What just happened?" I asked confused, waking up in a strange room. "Was everything a dream?"
"I wish," Bora said, walking in front of me.
"Bora?" I asked. "Where are we?"
"Aurora, we don't have time for questions," Bora said with a warm smile. "You have a wedding to attend."
"What?" I asked, looking down and saw that I was wearing a gorgeous wedding dress. "I'm getting married?"
"Of course, silly," Bora said. "You don't want to be separated from your other half any longer, right?"
"But I'm sixteen!" I protested.
"Who cares? We are all dead," Bora answered, and two ladies literally dragged me out of the room. I was escorted into a large church room with so many people.
"Aurora!" an old lady cried. "I'm your great great grandmother!"
"Aurora!" a little boy yelled. "I'm from your family eight centuries ago."
"Hey Aurora," Felix said, and Daniel actually smiled at me.
"Aurora," a man said, walking up to me. "I'm your escort."
Tears spilled down my eyes. "Dad?!" I cried.
"Yes," he said, tears spilling down his face. "I've missed you so much."
I sobbed, hugging him. "You don't want to ruin your makeup," my dad said, and I nodded, wiping my tears. I looked across the church room and saw Nicholae looking at me, smiling shyly. He looked so good in a white tuxedo; it reminded me of an angel. I looked at the priest who ironically had large angel wings and white hair.
Suddenly, slow church music started to play, and my heart was beating so fast as we walked across the church room. Everything happened in slow motion, and my heart skipped a beat when Nicholae looked at me with his big blue eyes. They weren't red anymore!
"Aurora Stancy, do you take this man to be your husband?" the angel asked.
"I do," I replied, my eyes sparkling.
"And Nicholae Kinsberg, do you take this woman to be your wife?"
"I do."
"Then I declare you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride."
Nicholae kissed me, and everyone cheered. Soon, I found myself slow dancing on the floor with Nicholae in the ballroom.
"What is going on?" I asked.
"How am I supposed to know?" Nicholae asked. "I'm in the same situation as you."
"I'm glad we're together," I said.
"You really are stupid, you know," Nicholae said, giving me a sad smile. "You shouldn't have thrown your life away for me."
"If you're in pain then I should be too," I explained.
"Wow," Nicholae said, his face turning red. "No one has ever loved me so much before."
"And now we have wedding rings to prove it," I said, looking at my hand.
"Hey lovebirds," Daniel said, walking towards us. "Are you ready for your wedding night?"
"Oh my god," Nicholae and I said at the same time, our faces turning red.
Daniel laughed. "How does it feel like ro call Nicholae your husband, Aurora Kinsberg?"
"It feels..."
And suddenly, my body started to fade. "What?" I asked, looking at my hands. "What is happening?"
"Is she going to hell or something?" Nicholae asked an angel walking towards us.
"That's strange!" the angel said, frowning. "She was dead for too long! What is happening?"
"Aurora!" Nicholae cried.
"Nicholae!" I cried back.
Suddenly, everything turned black again.
