"Here is a rose," Nicholae said, plucking a dark red rose from a rose bush. "It is as pure as you are."

"Why thank you, Nicholae," I said, bowing. "It has been a pleasure knowing you."

"Yes," Nicholae said with a giggle, bowing back.

"I still can't believe you were so immature in that flashback you showed me," I noted. "Look at me, I can fly."

"Shut up," Nicholae said playfully, pushing me lightly. I pretended to be affected by the push and purposely fell on the grass. I grabbed Nicholae's foot and made him fall too.

"You're going to pay," Nicholae joked, imitating Kaito's voice.

"Catch me if you," I said, rolling down the hill, and Nicholae rolled after me.

"I'm going to have to go extra hard on you today," Nicholae said, and he tickled my stomach.

"Oh my god, stop," I begged, laughing.

"There are so many stars out today," Nicholae said, laying down on the grass. I laid down next to him and put my head on his shoulder.

"You can never see this many stars in New York due to pollution," I realized.

"Look, there is Gemini," Nicholae explained, pointing to the sky. "The story us that there were twins named Castor and Pollux. Castor was mortal and Pollux was immortal. They were close and when Castor died, Pollux asked Zeus to let him die, so he could be with his twin, and Zeus placed both of them in the sky."

"Wow," I said. "What is the story behind Pisces?"

"Once, there was a monster who was in love with Aphrodite, the goddess of beauty. When she and her son Eros were walking along a river, the river nymph transformed them into fishes to save them, and fishes were placed in the sky as appreciation."

"I can't believe you memorized these stories."

"When you live for so long, you get bored," Nicholae said.

"Was your father mad when he saw that you had turned into a vampire?" I asked.

"Yes," replied Nicholae, "but at that point, he hated all of us and decided to leave home."

"I can't believe my mother supports him," I said. "He killed his own son and didn't regret it."

"My parents are crazy," Nicholae said, "and I'm trapped in this house for eternity. Never to explore the outside world."

"That's horrible," I replied.

"Even though my mother forced me to, I feel like a sinner," Nicholae said sadly. "Maybe my father was right. Maybe it was all my fault."

"It's not all your fault!" I cried. "Nicholae, maybe you were annoying as a kid, but you were never an evil person. You are nice and you care about others more than yourself."

"Aurora, you are too kind," Nicholae stated, and he kissed me. I kissed him back, and our tongues lightly touched. Suddenly, Nicholae burst out laughing.

"Are you still fourteen?" I asked, punching him lightly.

"Vasile, I need to talk to you," I said, walking up to him. "About the kiss."

"What about it?" Vasile asked, looking nervous.

"Vasile, I would have dated you, but I think I'm going to choose Nicholae, I answered, "I'm not a fan of three timing or even two twiming."

"Is that really what you think?" Vasile questioned, sadly.

"I'm sorry," I said, "but I hope we can at least continue being friends."

"If this is the end of my chances then at least let me drink your blood," Vasile begged. "Please, you let bot Kaito and Nicholae taste your blood, and they said it was delicious."

"I did not allow them," I protested, "but fine, if you will stop begging, I will allow you to have a taste."

"Finally!" Vasile said, and he bit into my neck. I gasped. I had noticed that every vampire gives the human they bite a different feeling. With Kaito, all I felt was pure pain, and with Nicholae, I felt like I was high. But with Vasile, I felt like I was drowning into sweet chocolate syrup and wine. I sighed.

"See, I told you I could make drinking blood a pleasure," Vasile said.

"What the hell are you two doing?" Kaito snapped.

"How long have you two been watching us?" I questioned.

"I was just walking by," Kaito replied, and he walked towards us and grabbed my arm forcefully.

"What are you doing?!" I cried, trying to pull away.

"You are coming with me!" Kaito said, dragging me out of the room, leaving a very confused Vasile.
