"Where would you all like to go?" the taxi driver asked. Right after George had left, Kaito had decided to get a taxi since all of us were drunk. Kaito was sitting in the front while I was in the back, in between Vasile and Nicholae.
"The Kinsberg mansion," Kaito answered.
"The Kinsberg mansion?" the taxi driver repeated in confusion. "Why, that is a suicide mission! That place is filled with demons! What could you possibly want there?"
"I live there," Kaito stated.
"You can't be living there," the driver cried. "Unless you are a..."
Kaito smiled widely, revealing his fangs. The taxi driver screamed.
"This is your last job," Kaito said, "because by the end of the trip, I'm going to kill you. And if you try to contact anyone, you will be sorry."
"Please let me live," the driver pleaded. "I'll let you guys go for free."
"What type of blood do you have?" Nicholae asked.
"Why?"
"If it is A positive, I'm shooting myself," Vasile complained. "I hate the way A positive tastes."
The driver was shaking and crying as he drove us to the mansion. I felt bad for him. He didn't deserve a fate like this.

The Kinsberg mansion was empty, but it had been trashed. The windows were broken, the furniture looked like someone had smashed it with an ax, and there was graffiti sprayed on the walls.
"This is going to take a long time to fix," Kaito grumbled.
And so, we spent the last week of June fixing the house. We had to paint all over the walls and furniture. Vasile decided to purchase expensive window glass that had mosaic patterns, and the castle suddenly looked better than it ever did.
Someone had taken a pair of scissors and cut up all of my clothes from New York. I was forced to replace it with elegant Czech clothing that didn't match my taste at all.
We found Felix's body, and we decided to have a funeral for him. A lot of vampires were invited to the house, and once again, I felt out of place.
"Felix Kinsberg was a good person," Vasile said at the podium. Today Vasile wasn't wearing any of his emo makeup, and he looked like a completely different person.
"He was my twin brother and my best friend," Vasile continued. "He was the soul of the Kinsbergs. He always took care of our relations and was the one who kept track of everything, and now there is no one to explain anything. Without him, I feel like I have lost half of myself. If Felix could think right now, he would most likely be happy. He is probably glad that I can now be myself without being compared to anyone. And that is what hurts the most."
Vasile left the podium crying. Felix was buried in the Kinsberg's graveyard, right behind the chapel.
"I feel bad for the Kinsbergs," I heard a lady say. "I heard that tomorrow they are hosting two more funerals for Daniel and Bora Kinsberg. This is really a low point for them."
I sighed. Everything was falling apart. I was now free to travel back to New York, but I had the urge to stay here until the end of summer. This family was growing on me, and I felt like they needed a lot of help before it was too late for them.
"Kaito!" I yelled, walking up to him. "You have been ignoring me ever since we came back."
"What about it?" Kaito questioned, rather rudely.
"What?" I asked, stepping back. "Didn't you say we were in a relationship?"
"Rory, three of my brothers are dead," Kaito said. "I don't have time for these childish games."
"You think this is a game?" I cried, but Kaito just walked away. He was so rude!
"I am sure that he will talk to you again once he stops greivin," a random old lady said which made me jump.

Just as the sun was starting to rise, I decided to sleep. I placed a pair of pajamas on my bed and walked to the bathroom to take a hot bath and brush my teeth. When I came back, the pair of pajamas were gone.
That's strange I thought I could have sworn I had put a pair of pajamas here.
I started to search around my room, looking for the pajamas, but I couldn't find it anywhere.
Suddenly, my closet door creaked open, and I gulped. Stuff like this only happens in horror movies. Maybe it was Vasile playing a prank on me. I walked slowly to the closet and opened the door to see a girl with long, dirty blonde hair jump out from the dark. I screamed.
"Ana Lorrel?!" I cried.
